i really liked that they disposed each of the villains quickly and didnt cont to forgive them until the end like most dramas...instead, they faced different villains throughout and made them disappear 🙂 the leads were smart, esp the ML and wasnt fooled by the scheming villains. some may find this boring, but i enjoyed this a lot...whenever the leads are smart and plan ahead to thwart the villains' schemes &support and protect the FL without any falter is what we'd like to see👍

Glad someone else picks up on these things, l often spend more time picking the inconsistencies, faults and bloopers in these silly dramas, than actually concentrating on the story, Someone's not doing their job properly, correcting these things in the production of these stories. The whole drama trope of people getting drugged with some kind of extacy narcotic is overused. It really makes no sense in a society like China where illegal drugs are banned and severely punished by law. Each time these dramas show Chinese citizens, both rich and poor, blatantly breaking the law and not even caring about the consequences. Each time at least one person gets raped. It's like condoning the act and abuse. Same thing happens where they expect men and women to accept the bullying of being forced to drink large amounts of alcohol whether for business or social events.

Outside of the drug part which is mostly fictional it is actually very fitting. Remember these aren't made for western audiences but by and for their own people and they get millions of views and that's why they keep making them. Putting it here whether with or without permission of the production crew for an audience outside of China is just for extra cash and promotion. And while some of the comments and the views are fake not all of them are and that says a whole lot more.

You sometimes see (in the subtitles) they mention that the drug used is so potent it can have harmful side effects if not 'dealt with' which means getting it on with someone often unable to offer full consent so in that sense I think that's why they refer to it as 'saving' someone because the result of not doing anything could cause problems but to be honest I don't really buy it personally. I'm not a medical professional but I can't see how it would cause such an impact that you have to be physically intimate with someone to save your life.

Pelo que entendi (se não entendi errado, claro!) a família lin, cria seus 5 filhos de forma anônima, sem status ou dinheiro, sempre em posição mais baixa até certo tempo, depois que atingem a idade ideal ou estipulada eles assumem a parte do império que lhe convém, por exemplo os irmãos como são mais velhos já sabem da situação financeira dos pais, e por isso todos tem seus trabalhos importantes, mas certamente começaram da base, o mais velho aparentemente trabalha em empresas de construção, junto com o ji chuchu ( ou seja lá como ele chama) para a irmã ele é apenas um trabalhador comum, eles não se expuseram para avaliar a personalidade da irmã, vendo que a outra que eles criaram como sua não tinha um bom temperamento e aparentava vaidosa e soberba. This was a good one. I really liked how they figured stuff out right away and didn't let it linger, that getting annoying, especially if every drama has the same basic plot. Messed up family, leads meet, everything is going good, and then boom both have an ex or admirer creating all of this drmaa trying to kill somebody....

The lack of domestic violence in this one is refreshing considering how bad some of the other ones are. I still can't get past the cdrama trope of someone getting drugged and either being assaulted to try to force a marriage (the plan here), or having sex with someone random and considering them as having "saved" you. It's wild. Usually it's ML trying to find the mystery woman who "saved" him (usually he assaults her while he's drugged and she's in the wrong place at the wrong time). He played it off here as if he was also drugged, but he wasn't. He did that sober. Ah these dramas are rotting my brain. *clicks on another one*

For reals they even sometimes have the parents/grandparents drugging their own children in order to "help" them so they can have grandchildren. Its rare to see one of this short dramas without this trope, even if there is no domestic violence, there is at the drugging part

This one really is worth watching, I am envious of her for her big brothers, I love how they love her, and how protective they are of her. The older brother says she just came back, and we want to spoil her more and is quite handsome as well as her brothers. FL is beautiful and strong. Love that misunderstandings and problems were dealt with immediately

Despite the appearance of various tropes and some of the usual plot holes, like an implausible lack of early DNA testing to quickly prevent/resolve misunderstandings, the drama is well paced and not too choppy in the edit. The ending was given enough time and attention to be quite well resolved. Pleasantly, the drama isn't driven by excessive physical and metal abuse within romantic or familial relationships. The unrepentant snakes are dealt with leaving a foundation to imagine a healthy supportive relationship between the lead characters that endures whatever challenges the future may hold due to their great communication and sincerity.

Wow! How can the FL be blamed for being raised by the wrong family? She didn't steal 20 yrs...damn. I believe that the kids were raised to learn of the father's true wealth by the age of 21 so they wouldn't grow up arrogant & honestly earn their own trade of biz...hence is the fact that the family was going to announce her true wealth on her 21st BD. The other girl totally resented the humble life & desired the rich life...which was shown when she left in a quickness when she found out she was raised by the wrong family. It's sad that she didn't understand the concept of her upbringing & chose to quickly start harassing the FL. Hmmm. I agree that the drug scenario should've been where he took her to the hospital or called her family for help. Not the butler mixing poison in an open kitchen, in broad daylight🤣🤣🤣🤣 I liked this version, not a lot of physical and mental abuse, towards the Fl.. she also end sup with someone outside of the "the brothers", the FL family was also wonderful as well, and the ML was nice. This is probably one of the most tolerable version to watch, it was also done differently, at the start the switch was done with the mistaken identity, so we didn't have to go through torture finding out who's the sister/daughter

Interesting and different kind of plot, although it still has all the jealousy and catty witchineness as every standard Chinese melodrama. The story flowed better than most I've watched and thankfully minimum slapping the FL. Usually when there's several brothers, 1 turns out to be adopted and in love with 'Cinderella' but as good change CEO was there hehe she gets drugged, he tries to stop her but with barely any strength he gives in saying it was her choice (at least it wasn't the sleazy guy) The richest family yet for 2 special occasions the dresses were awful, at least the last engagement dress was okay. But I guess the ML had either worked out to hard before or just stiff, the way he got down lol
