FULL CIRCLE! Our LAST EVER Trip In Pearl -

Pearl The CV20 We’re going to miss you! An unexpected turn of events leads us to cancel Wales AGAIN and head of to Mablethorpe to go “Full Circle” in Pearl for our last ever weekend away.
It’s also our 6th anniversary so sometimes things just work out differently, it’s a strange type of weekend really but as always we try to share as honestly as we can with you.
Join us as we bid farewell to the best CV20 ever made.
Hi We're Rick, Heather & our dog Poppy and we travel in Pearl our Elddis CV20 campervan.
We film the places we visit as our own diary, these videos are meant as a little memento for us but we're happy to share them with you if you want to watch.
We're just an ordinary couple in our 50's filming our adventures with basic equipment so don't expect loads of flash camera action and super editing with great music.
We also film videos of work we have done on our van as well as van reviews for our reference of the next van we might buy. Occasionally there are hints & tips videos too. We do basic site and area reviews including if they’re dog friendly but they’re a guide only based on our opinions which may or may not help you make an informed decision on if you’d like the place.
We do a mix of off grid camping, pub stopovers plus real campsites too, hopefully something for everyone to enjoy!

I watch for the fun you bring and the honesty.❤❤ I know just what you mean about the last time in your beautiful Pearl, I’ve just sold my Elddis CV60 -Stripe and bought a Auto Trail F60 - Phoenix, which I love. However when I learnt that Stripe had been sold ( via the dealer ) my first thought was I hope she has gone to good home. I had 3 great years in Stripe and she deserves a good new owner, we are funny aren’t we. Love your channel. Happy Anniversary to you both. 🎉🍺🍺

Rick and Heather we live in Sutton on Sea, Waldos great fish and chip shop here, also beach bar on prom has a dog friendly enclosed conservatory and do meals...also Bacchus hotel you can take your dog in..

Nice to close the loop at your first, last - Pearl took you to some amazing places - for a reasonably priced van (at the time you got it) don’t think you did bad at all did you. Really enjoyed your Pearl story and as I’ve said before it was a massive help when waiting for the van - I think the 4 points of Britain was my favourite trip you did as it was really inspiring. I wonder if the new one will have the same emotional connection Pearls had with you. Anyway - you’re enjoying the new van, next chapter has begun! We have just been in the position you have talked about, we traded in our 5 year old Transit Custom camper for a new CV80 a couple of months ago. We have a lot of memories with the Transit, as you with our Border Collie Brax who we lost last year after a short illness, you'll enjoy your new van and always have you're memories.

Nice one and guess fitting to end the ti e with Pearl back to where it began. Personally its not the specific van Elddis or S&L it's about campervan life and adventure to 2 old farts as you put it. Must have been strangeas having our van just 2 years and looking, we keep saying we don't want to change yet but I guess that's more the case of nothing we have looked at seems better especially value wise and even if you spend £100k plus. 👍

SPARROWS DEN new name

What makes you think of that one Andrew?

Well I think it's an appealing name to all but with the conection to pearl and captain Jack sparrow it keeps some form of consistency, I think Den sums up a small but homely feeling the sparrow also subconsciously makes you feel like your den is a nest . To sum it up it matches your channel because you both are loving caring couple and your van is far from being a van it's a home , in nature Den equals home to wildlife . Depending on your online image and conecting platforms and long-term connectivity I think van name sparrow's Den and channel name could be "RickandHeather from sparrow's Den "or absolutely any way you van conect your name with van name . Sorry my answer is longwinded and hope you can see the idea , anything you do will be fine as number one it's about both of you and you come over as a genuine couple you appear to tell it as it is you don't seam to add drama , no one keeps up an act they always slip up but you both are not an act and the truth is easy to remember your balance in your videos is on point and seams 100% natural and people will always follow you , I wish you both many years of happiness and remember you bring happiness to others , hope to see you on the road one day but illness has stopped me in my tracks of getting on the road but I'm not going to give up I'll park next to you one day God willing love hugs and christian kisses to you both
