What I love are the aninmals just next to them who look so happy and have what I called "the Wildehopps filter" on. They don't look shocked or angry or scared or sad, they look genuinely happy for them, like it's a good thing (which it is). I would be one of those animals like that. I can hear them belting out "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" "So This is Love" "Once Upon a Dream" "A Whole New World" "If I Never Knew You" "I See the Light" and probably some others I'm forgetting. @@stingerjohnny9951 There's actually a series of graphic novels by Dark Horse that's been going since 2018! Although, they're prequels set in Nick and Judy's childhoods and directed at a young audience, so no mysteries or complex themes. I've read one story from them, and it was pretty fun.

Damn, this is better than anything Disney could write up as a sequel. This is INCREDIBLY good writing. It touched on notes from the first movie, like "biology". The arguments and dialog is totally believable. The character motivations all make sense. Whoever wrote this needs to be published, their work is clearly masterful. This would entertain the masses. Loving the art as well.

Same here, but the more I thought about it the more it made sense to me. A matriarch like her can be controlling over her family even when she doesn’t realize she is. It’s brought up the idea that she viewed Judys career as her just getting it out of her system before coming back into the fold. Her with Nick complicates her view of the world.

I didn’t know that. I may be in the minority, but while I would love to see how the old script woulda worked, I actually prefer the Zootopia we got. I feel it was more hopeful while not pulling punches and showing discrimination in a way that was relatable and realistic. Also I remember the director saying in an interview that the old script had some plot holes and things that didn’t really make sense on top of being a bit too mean spirited.

Disney doesnt have to shy away from the dark stuff as we saw with Hunchback of Notredame but i dont trust a bad worker more than a blind man behind the wheel of a moving car to make a Disney class story with dark themes. What was one of the things you liked from the original script? I liked Wilde Times.

DA MotoNeko I liked Wilde Times, I liked the concept of the shock collars, even if in the script them being repealed and outlawed so quickly was unrealistic as hell, and I liked the deleted scene where Stu thinks Nick is her boyfriend and he’s leaning into it just to mess with her, that’s really funny and very in character for Nick 😆
