Foundation review I bought this foundation after watching this video and I am sooo glad I did. I’ve been looking so long for a foundation that does not transfer all over my clothes, does not look cakey on the skin, does not need to be set, has a good shade match, AND is affordable. I thought this was too much to ask until I bought this. I loved how Maybelline fit me matte and poreless gives me a good amount of coverage on my dark spots but also looks skin-like. I just wanted a transfer proof, water-proof version of that and I really believe I found it. This foundation is so easy to blend. (I literally use my fingers just like I do with Maybelline). I don’t need a concealer to cover my dark spots with this foundation (that are very dark since I have dark skin). This foundation is waterproof. I applied maybelline fit me on one-hand and Covergirl on the other hand. I WASHED MY HANDS. The maybelline came off completely while Covergirl didn’t budge. It is mask-proof. However, when I used moisturizer and sunscreen and applied this foundation right on top it would not set to be transfer proof. Easy fix for that is to use a setting powder over sunscreens and moisturizers then put the foundation on top for all of this stuff to work. (I used Maybelline fit me loose powder and it was perfect). I agree with Zoey that you shouldn't put a powder on top. Put it underneath over sunscreens and moisturizers for a more skin-like and transfer-proof finish. I think you look flawless Zoey truly beautiful 🤩. It was really nice to get two back to back videos but I totally understand you have two little ones and nobody watching them for you , so you have to film while they nap and as a parent myself naps don’t always go as planned lol. The catrice foundation is so good! I got mine off amazon really natural looking full coverage and very thin and lightweight. It hides texture really well but Definately be careful picking your shade as it oxidised quite a lot. Go a shade down if anything.

@@brittany9747 another really really good one perfect flawless coverage is Vichy dermablend corrective fluid so suprised it isn’t more hyped in the internet. Only thing I don’t like is that it’s streaky if it rains but they have a matching powder which is supposed to make it smudge and water proof. For people with more extreme texture they also do a 3D version but I haven’t tried that one yet

You should try derma-planning (: i do it at home once a week and it really helped with scarring. I use a straight razor some people use a #10 scalpel but thats kinda to pro for me lol but it will help with eveness,, texture, and it helps your skin exfoliate by getting all that dead skin off so it doesnt turn to acne. You dont go over active acne spots but it takes off all the dead skin and hair on your face and just makes it so even and glowy. Love your videos!

Waitttt I’ve been doing this for a few years and never even thought to purchase a scalpel to do this! Probably works a lot better than an eyebrow shaver. One thing I just can’t get behind is shaving downwards instead of upwards.... shaving downwards gets rid of no hair for me lol

@@mariangely9546 yeeeess girl thise eyebrow shavers are bunk... ive tried 3 different eyebrow shavers and they just scratched my skin! A scalpel #10 is exactly what estheticians use and you can get them on amazon. If you sont feel comfortable with scalpels a mens straight razor that has the changeable single blades is the next best thing cause is has a cover on the blade only exposing a certain part of the blade so it helps with the pressure you place on the skin. Some people use a shave gel some do it dry, since you have dry skin id use a medium(shave gel or even an oil) to protect the skin while dermaplanning. I also use the Michael Todd micro abrasion tool it comes with diamond abrasion tips and helped my scars so much. Im just saying everything you get at a esthetician you can do yourself with some research. When i do my micro abrasion i got a face streamer from amazon and after the abrasion treatment i steam out all the gunk the use a glycolic acid peel and its been life changing
