*主辦並沒有禁止邊走邊攝影，沿途警察很多，警察還幫我開道，謝謝警察叔叔。針對拍攝過程跟大家說明，我有買第一區轉角下坡那一區的票可以拍攝到很好的畫面，但最後我選擇放棄，因為出不來，後面的畫面都不用拍了，所以我就往前找位置，我很專心的拍花車，京都橘突然過來讓我來不急(當時在換電池)所以沒拍到，我只能趕快往前，但是人真的太多，跟去年西門町一樣，拍得不好請多多包涵。這種情況像是我當兵時背背包跑3000一樣。京都橘是法拉利我是小綿羊追不上。 他們隔天一定會有肩膀與腿痠痛的問題,更嚴重的是臉被太陽曬紅黑了,加州的陽光太燦爛了。 ※主催者は歩きながらの撮影を禁止していませんでしたが、途中に警察官がたくさんいて、警察のおじさんが道を空けてくれてありがとうございました。撮影の流れを説明しますと、良い写真を撮ろうと最初のエリアのコーナーで下りエリアのチケットを購入しましたが、結局出られず諦めることにしました。次の写真を撮る必要があるので、山車の写真を撮ることに集中して前に進んでいると、突然京都橘がやって来て、ゆっくりしてくださいと言いました（その時私はバッテリーを交換していました）。ので、急いで先に進む必要があったので写真は撮りませんでしたが、昨年の西門と同じで、写真が良くない場合はご容赦ください。この状況は私が軍隊にいたとき、バックパックを背負って3000メートルを走ったときのようなものです。 次の日は間違いなく肩と足が痛くなるでしょう。さらに深刻なのは、カリフォルニアの太陽が眩しすぎることです。 *The organizer did not prohibit photography while walking. There were many police officers along the way, and the police helped clear the way for me. Thank you, uncle police. Let me explain to you the shooting process. I bought a ticket for the downhill area at the corner of the first area to take good pictures, but in the end I chose to give up because I couldn’t get out and I didn’t need to take any subsequent pictures, so I I moved forward to find a spot. I was very focused on taking pictures of the floats. Kyoto Tachibana suddenly came over and asked me to take my time (I was changing the battery at the time), so I didn’t take any pictures. I had to move forward quickly, but there were too many people. Same as Ximen last year. Same as town, please forgive me if the photo is not good. This situation is like when I was in the army and ran 3000 with a backpack.

I am not a fan of Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift because of obvious personal indifferences I am at odds with concerning those two celebrities, but regardless of that, Kyoto Tachibana is the most amazing marching band in the world. And the students don't always readily recognize the whole story going on with some celebrities, and I understand that. They have such kindness and beauty in their hearts, smiles and performances. And the band always touches my heart, moves and absolutely impresses me with their extraordinary talent. I have been a fan of them since the first time I saw them many years ago.

皆さん、是非パーカッション部隊を称え、労ってあげてください！ 曲間のドラムマーチがあり、彼ら達はほぼ休み無しで叩き続けています。 給水のタイミングは難しく、ハイタッチもしにくく、演奏を続けています。 スネア、マルチタム、バスドラ、シンバル、グロッケン、皆さんすごいテクニックです。 一部の意見で「曲間が長い」という声もありますが、 その間、パーカションが物凄く格好良く演奏しています、 しかも結構難しそうな譜面です。是非よく聴いてください 彼らのテクニック、努力、他のパートより力を抜きにくい状況、ミスれない状況、 パレードの土台、心臓であるパーカッション部隊に大きな拍手を送りたいです。

２０１２最初の参加の時、管楽器の部員さんが曲間が短くて大変な思いをされました、呼吸を整えることができなかったそうです。２回目ではその経験から曲間の長い部分を組み込んだそうです。９㎞のコースを吹きながら、踊って行進するのは想像を絶する大変さです、一般のバンドと橘では大きな違いが有ります。パーカス隊はその延びた曲間もリズムを刻み続けて次の曲とそのタイミングを全体に知らせなければなりません。ＤＭがスタートを合図した後はアクシデント以外はパーカス隊のリズムで進行するのが基本です。パーカス隊を縁の下の力持ちという意見は間違い、パーカス隊こそマーチングの主役です。

従来、橘を見てまず度肝を抜かれるのが動きの比類ない激しさで、それなのに演奏もちゃんとしてる、というのがポイントだったのが、今回はまずびっくりするのがトーンとアンサンブルの素晴らしさで、マーコン金賞常連校になった一級の演奏力を思い知ることになって、これだけの演奏をしながらその上でこれだけの動きもしていることに空恐ろしさを覚える、という感じ方になっている。

You got jammed in the crowd:--you exploited the circumstance to convey even more the feeling of being right there with them! My favorite marching dancing band. The KYOTO TACHIBANA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BAND. The greatest in the entire planet . When 2018 batch played in this rose parade they left the band because they graduated already and these girls were the new ones they were very small kids then. I followed their activities until this 2025 rose parade they are the same or better of their mentors. They don't get tired. I am very sure their mentors are very proud of them. Their notes are very fine sharp ,clean, loud and clear and their percussions too. The are enjoying every note and step of that 9 kilometer parade. That is made in Japan band. Quality . I waited for them to perform in this 2025 rose parade. Thank you utube.

Thank god we got a long footage early. TV channels sucked at showing them. There’s a lot of other good footage but finally we got a long one. LETS GO ORANGE DEVILS! Also in other videos alot people are saying they’ve downgraded since 2018 parade. But I lowkey think they didn’t. They’re just as energetic as 2018!

I was in person in rose parade with my family. I feel so luck to watch SHS band. It is an amazing band from high school in Japan. So energetic and always smile in their face. Thanks James to record the whole 5.5 mile performance. I start following SHS band, wish them the best. Great job and a big achievement. Thanks for bringing joy to everyone in the new year.

しかし　この子たちはよくやったよ。今回は規制が厳しくなり、縦列の幅も横列の幅も狭くなっている。フロート車だって接近している。著作権の問題まで発生し、選曲やサンバ等が難しくなった。日にちはないし、兼城先生は不在だし、3人のDMは相当苦労したんじゃないかな。それでも他のバンドに比べると、橘が数段勝っていた。京都橘吹奏楽部の皆さん素晴らしかったし、敬意を払いたい。国旗については、アメリカのバンドも外していたし、半旗で掲揚したら政治色が出てしまうから、仕方ないね。ともあれ素晴らしいマーチングをありがとう

素晴らしい動画をありがとうございます。コロナで殆ど外部活動ができなかった117期の生徒さんが何人か見られるのが感動です。橘でローズに出られるのは実力よりも生まれ年の運の要素が大きいです。卒業生は楽器を置いて進学や社会に出たかたが殆どだ思います。約5年後の今、117期で出場できる人はごく少数派だと思いますが、出られなかった仲間の想いも背負っているのでしょうね･･･泣けます

Rooster James I am completely amazed and at awe at what you have accomplished here. We fans are so thankful for what you are doing for us. You are every bit as amazing and incredible as Tachibana. Unless you are walking with Tachibana on the streets, just trying to follow them on the sidewalk is difficult enough. I was there myself so I should know. There are areas where you can’t even cut though the sea of people on the sidewalk because it’s so thick. But you not only manage to do that but also manage to film them as well takes great discipline, perseverance, dedication, and stamina. In a way this video is even more amazing and impressive because you not only get to experience Tachibana’s greatness but also get to follow them with the people as well. I salute and congratulate you Rooster James on a job well done with love and passion on filming our beloved Tachibana the whole way in the most difficult circumstances.

永久保存版の動画です🧡アップして頂きありがとうございます🙏 今回のローズパレードもですが、京都橘高校がアメリカで演奏できるまでの大変さがよくわかりました。今回楽曲や楽器や振り付けの制限もあり本来の京都橘高校の良さ全開できない状況の大変な中にもかかわらず、これだけの演技ができるなんて本当に頭が下がります。２０１８年とは条件も状況も違うので、比較できないと思います。練習を重ねる生徒さん達や、先生方、金銭面の工面で支える学校や協会、親御さん、ファンの方々のどれが欠けても今は成り立たない奇跡なんだなぁ🥹素晴らしいこの時を見せていただいた全ての方々に感謝🙏✨
