The thing I always notice when you show match history is slot of the losses you still do really well so that tells me it's just a team diff most of the time or someone sees your build and stops trying to win

yeahh a lot of players are quick to give up also doesnt help a lot of his off-meta builds are really nasty at picking off people not so much in team fights so if the rest of his team is failing he cant do much

This is why KDA means nothing. Wildly off-meta builds are usually bad because they have a crippling weakness which makes them unviable to win the game. Otherwise, they would be part of the meta. Full crit rammus is a perfect example of this - it's a beastly fun way to dunk on isolated people and rack up kills. The problem is that the moment enemy team groups up the crit rammus becomes so useless that's its literally worse than playing 4v5. At least having an afk doesn't take 20 kills worth of gold and xp from the team. There are off-meta builds like AD nidalee or AP nasus which work ok. And there's nonsense like AP tryndamere, AS soraka and crit rammus which are simply worse than not playing at all.

The majority weren't sweat lords that tilted at the slightest problem, and people could try out new builds and just have fun with nowhere near the amount of rage and flame that people react with nowadays. I also feel like unfortunately, a lot of that baseless ego has come from watching streamers who are actually good at the game, and then the viewers assume they're also good cuz they think they know how to play at that level from watching. And they treat every game in every gamemode like a goddamn master promo series ranked game, it's so cringe.

One of my FAVOURITE parts of LoL that has been squished hard in recent seasons was when people got weird with their builds. Attack speed, on hit Lulu tearing up top lane was beautiful. I got absolutely minced in an ARAM by a full tank Akali a while back. Full crit fiddle sticks when he had that 3 second long fear. Hybrid Varus with an unexpectedly huge magic damage proc. AP Xin Zhao? AP Yi? The classic legends. My all time favourite was a maxed out move speed one shot Quinn with a Yuumi attached. They'd leave bot lane to go gank top and then be back before the next wave of minions. Hilarity. Never rage at the mad scientist meta entrepreneurs. They're the imagination fairies that keep LoL whimsical.

Haha this is hilariousI I think in order to be more effective in both damage and teamfight I think you should prioritize Thornmail 1st for the nice early reflect dmg and survivability to get fed. After that build Kraken and then crit items and your Atk DMG plus reflect damage will be absurd. I'd say maybe prioritize Aftershock to give you that greater reflect damage and survivability too. If its heavy AP comps put a mercurial scimitar in there and you'll have a combination of some nasty resists and damage with a free cleanse if you need it. Worth a try. I may try it out and see how effective it is.
