That "leave the shoes for the sandal" process for the bathroom wasn't around when I was living and working in VN but it makes sense. Those sandals are in that area and are not walked on the gravel so they're cleaner than your shoes. Vietnamese people leave shoes and sandals at the door and walk barefoot in the house which I agree as much cleaner than us American wearing shoes in our home. I think it's filthy how we wear our shoes in the house, put them on our couch, etc. As for the caves, those are beautiful and really look surreal with the external sunlight beaming inside.

Shoes in the house are so dirty haha. I was surprised at the public restrooms but makes sense

If I may make a suggestions and please forgive me if I sound like I am lecturing you but in VN, or in hot humid tropical countries, try to drink water with your meal and avoid sodas. It really help improve the meal in terms of taste and quench your thirst. Then mid day, buy cheap sidewalk fruit juice or fruit smoothies for nutrients and vitamins. VN has fruit juice and smoothies that are really good value, not expensive.

Great advice! I had so much fruit juice in Vietnam especially watermelon juice. So fresh and delicious and very affordable

Thanks for video! Im going to Vietnam soon and plan on visiting marble mountain so this gives a really good view into the difficulty (I hate stairs lol)

Yeah unless you’re going specifically for a workout I’d probably take the elevator up. Plenty of walking to do once you’re up there, you don’t need to hike up from the bottom

Great videos !!!!! Maybe you could put links to the hotels that you stay in. 🤔

We stayed at Altera Suites in Da Nang. Hesitant to links in the description because the it turns into a free permanent ad/endorsement instead of just a vlog.

Technically you need a Vietnamese drivers license.

How long did it take you to finish the whole marble mountain tour??
@TravelWithNala3 ай бұрын
Maybe about half a day. We took our time. You can probably walk the whole thing in a couple hours if you want to. Other people spend the whole day up there.

@@TravelWithNalagreat! We are heading there mid November. Have been following your channel for a few months! Did you go to My Son sanctuary?? I didn’t see that in your video.

You can speed run it but I think it’s more it a half day thing like 4-5hours. Take your time, take breaks, have a drinks up there.
