You have the patience of Job. All your duties of food prep going on and you deal patiently with your children. I love your videos and pray you all had a blessed Thanksgiving with your family.

Julie - I’m so envious of your poise in a chaotic environment! I get so stressed when there is a lot going on and I have to multi-task. But your kids are really well behaved - so you’ve got good chaos not bad chaos!

I remember when your kids first started playing their instruments and I just smiled knowing I could turn the volume down. And now! Wow! Amazing how well they play in such a short amount of time. So impressed with what you all accomplish whether it is music/food/animals/crafts/etc. Canning venison while working on your Thanksgiving feast?? I get exhausted just watching you Julie. Please take some time for just you (if that is possible!) to prevent you from burning out. Thank you for sharing your family with all of us.

Am sure you must grow weary of home noise. Whenever I am honored enough to look in on a home with kids I call the 'noise' music! To me, it is one of thee most beautiful sounds. The many voices of love blending together. Now you know I AM crazy. Loved your ending shot of your Thanksgiving table runner! Julie, thank you so much for sharing!👍👍

Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas season, Krekes. Homemade food always looks, tastes and IS the best for us! Loved the bubble beards by Samuel and Jeremiah! Loved the music by Bella, Leo and Silas. Loved the cooking and baking by Elsie, relaxing by James on the couch and kid time with the little ones popping in, as well as Mom’s Thanksgiving prep and deer canning tips. Dad’s working hard in the background…everyone enjoy this season! 🎄💫🙏✝️

Must say the sourdough pie crust was amazing, made a lemon meringue pie from scratch for hubbies birthday. Thank you so much. Always so enjoy your family videos, rabbits running free range? Never heard of anything so bizarre-they would certainly disappear before you could turn around. At least chickens stick around. Thank you once again for a great video

Julie, you have a truly beautiful family, a lovely home, and an enviable lifestyle going! Blessings to all of you and thank you for sharing your life with us! If I may, where do you folks live? based on what I've heard you say about certain birds and trees I'm guessing north-ish Midwest. Just found your channel today and I'm enchanted 🥰

Thanks for sharing. I really like my All American Pressure Canner. No more replacing rubber gaskets since it has the metal on metal seal. My lid doesn't stick but I've read using oil around the rim of the lid helps with that. What a blessing to have deer meat. I've never pressure canned meat yet but hope to someday. Loved hearing the kids play music and your table centerpiece was beautiful.

This would be so good if you would make like in a cast-iron pan, put coconut oil, then some flour salt, pepper, and milk make it like a gravy and then put those meat chunks in there with your garlic and onion then also cook some potatoes and add that in there with some veggies that would make a good soup / Stew 🍲

Is there anything that the narrow mouth jars are useful for? I'm considering buying a canner and jars so I'm wondering if I should just get all wide mouth jars. Like are there certain foods that the narrow mouth ones ARE good for? Does it just depend on what you're using the jars for?
@jasonandjulie Жыл бұрын
I can’t say I’ve found anything that I prefer them for. The wide mouth jars are easier to get the food in and out, and easier to clean too.
