@Ohio Power Tool. Thanks Adam for the great demonstration of that new Ridgid press tool and strut shear. It's great that Ridgid came out with a well designed tool that can help the tradespeople and understanding the amount of power behind that tool, also gave it versatility by giving us a strut cutter. No need for a second tool like a band saw. Hope everyone at OPT and your families stay safe and well.

Does the unistrut cutting head work with Milwaukee's press tool?

Threaded rod cutter head for the compact and full-size machines. You would sell the shit out of them

So if this works with copper, is it allowed to be use in copper use in HVAC where refrigerant is use and brazing copper is not needed anymore?

That would be something you would want to check within your field of work. As it would do the job you are referencing. But what the local rules and regulations are in regards to that I would not know.

The orings are not compatible with refrigeration gasses

Yes, they have specific jaws that work with what is called "zoom lock". You can Google it.

When does this tool actually release

Hopefully we'll have some in the next few weeks still in "November" but hard to say with Ridgid. Also we might only get part of our orders which is also common so only enough to fill the pre-orders. We do have a lot on order as stay tuned.

I hate to tell you but, brushless motors have a whole new set of problems and require a higher skill level in electronics to repair and costs way more to repair and break down more frequently than conventional reliable brush motors. I know! I repair them! Youre welcome!

According to Ridgids website, 1/2" to 2" for PEX! Hope this helps!
