I like the show, but I have to disagree here. The elevation in power is pretty ridiculous if you think about it. In like every fight he's in, tanjirou is basically a dead man walking and gets a massive power boost from it. Like, he went from being a complete noob to being on lower demon moon level after only fighting like 4 notable demons who were notably weaker than rui. He was shown to be in the level of a rookie in his first mission in his fight against the triplets, he was outclassed and had to get the help of nezuko to win. Then, directly afterwards with no additional training, he beats the arrow and ball siblings, again with the help of nezuko. Then, right after THAT leap in absurdity, he fights the drum house demon with a considerable amount of injuries, and btw, no nezuko this time. But, he still manages to beat drum guy through plot armor of moving through breaking bones x10. He then goes to rest, and goes straight to the mountain. Remember, this is a guy who has had absolutely 0 training after being accepted into the corps. It's like making a fortnite player with a total of 10 games fight against ninja. It's totally unrealistic, but we accept it because it makes it a more enjoyable experience.

@@sanhakim1335 Drum demon was pretty weak and his most OP drum wasn't even with him. If he had his room changing drum then there's no way Tanjirou would've been able to touch him. Drum demon wasn't really a direct confrontation type. As for Tanjirou still being able to move while having his injuries just shows his willpower and again you are assuming that Tanjirou is like irl human and should be easily incapacitated because of the pain. Not only that but Tanjirou was also able to lessen it to a degree with the help of breathing techniques. What are you talking about 0 training? He spent a total of 2 years training in the mountain before the Final Selection. Not only that, clearly his training was harder than average because he was trained by someone like Urokodaki, a former Pillar. His sudden burst of power from Hinokami was indeed drastic but in no way did it even make him Rui's equal. He just managed to catch Rui offguard with it.

In almost every fight, the demons and demon slayers that see him say that he should not be able to move. This is because the basics of the anime humans' physiology is the same as our physiology, meaning it relies on the laws of physics. They don't have the magic power of demons which is repeated multiple times throughout the anime. It's one of its core themes. The HUMAN struggle against an overwhelmingly strong obstacle. Obviously, the humans in the anime are different from humans in real life, but they aren't magic. Once a muscle stops working, it is physically impossible to make it move. And you can't even claim that the breaths are helping lessen the effects of his overwork because it's been stated and shown in multiple fights that breathing techniques exhaust Demon Slayers even further. Also, you misread my original post. I never said that he had no training at all. I said that he had no training after the final selection. All he's done is fight against increasingly stronger demons with no training after that point. Even if he was trained by a former pillar, that doesn't mean that he'll be almost as strong as a pillar right out of initial training. Yes, it is implied that his training was much harder than most other beginner demon slayers and even the rest of Urokodaki's students, but that doesn't change the fact that in his first mission, he still couldn't beat the demon without Nezuko's help, which shows his power level very clearly at that moment.

@@sanhakim1335 When it comes to anime you have to accept the fact that it both follows and not follows the standard irl laws of physics, because if you are trying to be as uptight about the realism of the story then I would be surprise how you could accept Breath Styles. Further than that you are also forgetting the severity of situations and how someone like Tanjirou would react to them in character and physiologically. Incredible willpower to survive + adrenaline pushes people beyond their limits. The show makes a point of people pushing beyond their already extraordinary physiology. Him still being able to move is not that lore breaking. Also breath techniques does exhaust the user but not in the term that it saps stamina. It exhaust the user by putting a constant strain on the body. There's a limit to how much a person can run their body before it starts tear itself apart. Also just like irl examples using breath techniques can also allow an individual to control and raise their pain tolerance. Lastly it's not my fault that you wrote and I read "Remember this is a guy who had 0 training when he was inducted into the Demon Slayer corps..." that's why I interpreted it that way (Also it seems that you erased that part). But back to your point. Training isn't the only way to get stronger. Accumelating battlefield experience also adds to that and it might even be worth more than just training. So is being quickwitted and showing good battle adaptibility. Which was what really allowed him to score victories. You just can't purely base his wins on power level scaling alone.

There is a much more complex cover of this song by Animenz. However, I think your cover is much better than the more complex and complicated version, as you managed to capture the mood of both the song and the anime series. The whole action was an exposition for Tanjiro to discover his new breathing style, and the moment when the hero defeats Rui was the climax of the entire season. In the anime, this was highlighted as sakuga, in the music by emphasizing the beheading scene. And you managed to capture this moment perfectly in your cover!

Tanjiro isn't the protagonist that will win every opponent he stands against, or he won't be the classic nice except towards villains guy. He isn't the nice protagonist, he's kind. He may kill the demons for taking lives, but he knows they were once as innocent, too. He's what a truly kind person is. He's the big brother that's doing his role correctly. Tanjiro has one of the best shounen protagonist writings I've seen :')
