There's a trick you can maybe use to be more safe. If you waterlog a slab and then quickly move it to the next slab, the water stays and that way you can make a safety net.

Keep an eye out for dripstone trades with the wandering merchants, you can use it to get infinite lava

So I have that exact same gold farm as you and I found that by placing one rail and I think it was 24 mine carts on that rail the entity cramming happens much faster without you having to swing your sword at all. Effectively making it AFK-able. I don’t think you AFK in your series but in case anyone else wants to build that farm that’s what I did. Also if you stand back half a block away from where the zombie pigman die and make sure there’s no blocks breaking eyesight with the zombie pigman on the platform, they never de-agro. I did that once and AFK’d over night and I was set on gold for a long time ha. I know this is how the round gold farm works as well but that wasn’t explained in the tutorial video for this farm that Dr Trog made so I wanted to share :)

Another great episode fWhip. Sand can be duped with the end porthole. Put minecarts in the kill chamber of the gold farm to kill using entity cramming. Empires suggestion. As Scotts market has shut, and your base is underground..... But build it under one of the "holiday houses" outside of Tumble Town. You could have the entrance controlled by a "keycard" or code (Mumbo, recently did a vid on one with a 4 digit pin). Keep up the great content

Yo, pal, a tip to use the mushroom island, the suspicious stew made with dandelion fills double what gold carrots do, plus the mycelium does spread, so you can have with bonemeal giant mushrooms, and dandelions spawn easily when there is a lot of grass and bonemeal.

Im not really sure because my knowledge is from Bedrock. But if Husks are counted as surface spawns, there should be couple of ways to make it dark and still counted as surface spawns, like leaves.

Here is a simple tip for you to use leaves don't block the sky access but still create low enough light levels to spawn mobs just make a giant leaves umbrella.

Hey there! Ive started watching your minecraft Skyblock, found u randomly. I think in the 3 space for vilaggers maybe u can do one in each side and have the station for their job behind in the lowest and redstone latern or something that lights bin the second block, and another station in the front. Like that u use 2 villagers in the space and take advantage to get the best villagers traders possible :) Hope it a nice suggestion by my part.

A safe thing to do would be to make lightning rods and put them over the wooden parts of your base... Your villagers could die and hours of your progress just burnt to the void.

To solve your dirt "problem" and maybe save the gravel. Look for moss, build a small moss farm and a platform to lay the moss on and grow 2x2 spruce trees on it to convert the moss to podzol. It's way easier and faster than waiting for the piglins to give you gravel.

I don't know if you know this, but a quick tip is if you smelt all that gold armor and swords and stuff from the zombie piglins, you can get gold nuggets. Increasing your gold production

I love this series alongside your other hardcore and empires series. You and Gem inspired me to try this very same map... but only on normal hehe I'm still a farily new player. Husks do indeed need sky access to spawn, but sky access also make monsters less likely to spawn. Since you're limited to such a small desert area, the only solution i can think of is to build the spawning platform at the bottom of the world. That would be very risky though.

Being at the bottom helps, and you can use scaffolding for the spawning platform. Mobs can spawn on top, but it doesn't block sky access for layers beneath. That way you can have several layers of spawning, though it still only works at night.

I love watching your videos, but I have 1 small BONE TO PICK!!!! When you get into farmer fwhip mode, I have yet to see you build a silo. I know that'll be an easy build for you, so I was hoping you can begin to remember a silo for your farms. And add as many hay bales as you find possible. I spend alot of time playing between Minecraft and Stardew Valley, and the farm theme is a major similarity.....only Stardew Valley sorta requires you to have a silo.
