Great review, WE LOVED OURS. Yes they are mass produced but so are most cars, and Apple iPhones and they are the best mass produced quality device in the world. We had a couple of small problems with door handles and things like that. But we sold ours after 6 months use, from new to sold, we only lost $4k. Thats awesome resale if you ask me. And we will definitely buy another Jayco.

Yes ! so are cars, BUT cars have to conform to a build standard by government regulations, fifth wheelers don’t.

Is this a 5th wheel or a smaller length suitable for a half ton truck to haul?

I read recently that you shouldn't keep eggs in the fridge door as they are susceptible to temperature changes (therefore spoilage) every time you open the door. Great video, thanks.
@digitalentrepreneurslifest21386 жыл бұрын
Wow thanks so much for sharing this tip. That certainly makes sense. I will certainly move them into the main part of the fridge to keep them at the correct temperature.

www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-5053613/Why-NEVER-eggs-fridge-door.html That wasn't the article I read, but says the same thing. So I have now kept my eggs on a shelf instead, though I cannot say if I have noticed any difference as yet, then again, I only buy 6 at a time and they don't last for too long ;-)

Great Video, We are picking up our Journey 19.61-2 in a couple weeks. Can't wait. Has someone been a bit slack? I haven't found the outside video yet :-)
@digitalentrepreneurslifest21386 жыл бұрын
Yes you have caught us out LOL. We did say we would do an outside review... oops! Thing is our trip was cut short as we made the tough decision to take our little girl back to school. She wasn't enjoying the travel as much as we were. 2 days after we decided to go home we parked up next to a lovely couple who feel in love with the van and bought it from us.

Wow. That was sudden, What a real pitty, So much to be learnt travelling, I personally kids would learn more life skills travelling than full time at school. At least you got a quick easy sell. Hopefully one day you get to have another go. Kids hey :-)

I love the look of this van guys, would be awesome to see the outside tour as well. My only reservation would be the size of the thing - it’s huge!!!! How’s it go driving and what do you tow it with??
@digitalentrepreneurslifest21386 жыл бұрын
Hey Ben. Thanks for the comments. We tow it with a Ford Ranger and it tows really well. Half the time you forget there's a van on the back!

Hello there. Here in the states, the Jayco is not necessarily considered "junk". I hope it is of good quality. Are yours US imports, or produced there?
@digitalentrepreneurslifest21386 жыл бұрын
Absolutely agree with you there. Ours are built here in Australia.

What year model is it wouldn't mind one got wife and 2kids and price please
@digitalentrepreneurslifest21386 жыл бұрын
It's a 2017 model. Price varies a lot depending on the State you buy from. Brand new with most additions you'll need a budget somewhere between $60k and $70k as a gauge.

How much did they pay you ?

LOL that would have been nice, but no we did not get paid by anyone to do this review. We just thought it would be helpful for others that are considering buying a new van.

Can’t believe you looked for so long and came to a jayco as a result. They don’t have a very good reputation and terrible resale. You were sold this van by a great salesman or maybe you just bought what you could afford. Cheap mass produced rubbish.
@digitalentrepreneurslifest21386 жыл бұрын
Hey Aussie steve! The caravan is amazing and we love it (and before you ask, no we are not affiliated with Jayco). After 2 years of research it ticked all the boxes for us as a family van. We have had zero issues. We've been on the road for 4 months now and love it. But that's just our experience. Can't say what others think however of those we have spoken to they loved theirs also. Not sure what your experience has been but sounds like the Jayco you have owned didn't suit you.

Aussie steve. Jayco in the USA are good my family had one for about 15 or more years no problems
@LocksmithSteve6 жыл бұрын
Hey Aussie Steve. I bet you've never actually owned a Jayco Caravan. Were onto our 3rd Jayco, and wouldn't buy any other brand. They do hold their value, just the same as $100k vans. As for as build quality goes, when brand new you will always get a couple of problems, BUT, because there are Jayco dealerships in almost every major town Australia wide, easy to get repaired or obtain parts etc. As far as reputation goes, the vast majority of actual Jayco Caravan owners are very happy with their vans. I've been to dozens of Caravan shows and have seen vans double the price for the same size van, with exactly the same gear as Jayco, inside & out, so I reckon you'd be a dope to go and pay $45k more for practically the same van.

Steve,your such a Knob.The only rubbish I see here is what you have written.I have had many a caravan.I have had at least 5 different brand of van and can tell you these new late model Jayco vans are of a high quality from the ground up.You have obviously had a bad experience with a Jayco some time in your life and have never gotten over it.As a matter of fact I have just purchased(yet to be picked up)a new journey outback and gotta tell ya I am really impressed with the quality of it.If you have nothing good to say Steve May be don’t say it at all.
