Just yesterday some people in church were concerned about a lady who is always drinking and it runs in the family. I told them such patterns in the family are a sign of generational curses even though theirs self inflicted curses and accidental curses e.g. living in a house that's cursed yet nit you nor your family sinned. Someone cut me shot and said theirs nothing like generational curses. It's sad how Christians are perishing due to lack of knowledge, ignorant, foolishness or rebellion. Many take the blessings in Deuteronomy 28 but ignore the curse part. I have seen friends who come from a generation of Bishops and Pastors yet u see evil patterns in their family. One told me she is 4th generation Christian in a family of Bishops yet she is suffering generational curses because her parents and generations before have been ignorant to break the curses
