Important note, Sunsteel Strike is only from Fusing...can't Elite TM the move. Pvpoke has it listed as being able to use an Elite TM, this is not the case. Good video rom you two, hope the cruise is going well.

Do you get a boost from your Mega/Primal with it in the last slot? I was under the impression that it only boosts attacks when it is on the battlefield. Primals are special not like regular megas, they just have to be in the team and they boost everything 10% (i think) regardless of typing

Megas/Primals boost fast move damage irrespective of typings and primal boost lasts even if the primal isn’t in battle unlike megas so that’s why they are using primals as the last pokemon for more fast move damage

All megas give a 30% boost to their own type and a 10% boost to other types. Primals do the same thing, altho as explained above, they last during the whole team's lifetime rather than just the primal

And not only primal boost... both fusions, especially Dusk Mane rocking metal claw, attack much faster than usual during bugged raids. They're already pretty much top tier in their types, favored by party power thanks to their heavy charge moves, and now are being pushed even further by the recent glitch

I never wast stardust on metagross I only use it as dex filler and gym defense. EDIT. Could you try double iron bash melmetal and shadow metagross which is better

It’s not even close. Metagross is far better any every steel in the game besides dusk mane.

And Dusk Mane being advantaged by the raid glitch going on ATM means it's no competition for anyone else. Normally, without glitches nor party power, it should only be few dps ahead of Shadow Meta. This is still a significant difference at a 5 minutes scale, but not as much as the difference between Shadow Meta and anyone below
