Tbh.. Umbreon feels very balanced.. except the big hp.. which it should have as a defender.. you can have counter plays even when it's only released so recently.. Unite should have as their benchmark.

Jolteon could fit as a speedster Flareon as an attacker Vaporeon as a defender I don't think that any of the rest eeveelutions could be supporters.

@@nikosskurogiannis2594 The only Eevee that fits as a support now is Vaporeon, with Aqua Ring. Though it would be fun to see it as a defender with a healing move (like Umbreon). I kinda hope Flareon is a all rounder, just because I don’t want any of the Eevee’s to be an attacker anymore (we already have 3 of them). It would be cool to see Jolteon as a speedster, but who knows if they might switch things up.

Jolteon defo works as a speedster but that’s the reason why I’m not a fan of Leafeon being one too. Since it makes the most sense for Leafeon to have been a supporter

I don’t know the abilities of the other eevee’s but it might tell us more about what kind of role they’re going to be. PS, I also agree Leafeon could’ve been a support, mostly because Vaporeon will likely be a defender.

Yeah abilities often have some level of influence over the role of the unit. It’ll be interesting with the kanto eeveelutions since they all have elemental absorptions for their respective types along with other abilities I can’t really remember. Vaporeon makes more sense being a defender with how bulky it is but can defo work as a support too. I kinda just think of all the eeveelutions, Leafeon makes the most sense being a support as a grass type.

The one thing i hate is how the eevees in unite created a rift in my friendships. My friends who play unite just cuss me out for using them and cuss out the eevee for being too op. Its made it harder to play with them and even just talk to them in general. The new team buff for the eevees also dont help here but playing the vees are fun and fits my playstyle. Besides that its pretty good and i love the vees

If you want to beat full eevee team, go with full speedster team. They have insane mobility and are so good against squishy. Only Umbreon is tanky rest of the eevee are so squishy. Gengar( Dreamball) Zoroark(Feint build) Dodrio(Drill kick) Talonflame(Fly charge) Zeraora(Spark Charge)

There is a huge flaw in leafeon when I played him. It’s the fact in later in the game you get one shot immediately when everyone is fully evolved I’m not joking. Played last night an was one to two shot. Charizard only used flamethrower on me an then auto an I was killed instantly couldnt put any moves out. Leafeon health is undeniably unplayable unless you get a one shot hit in.

Makes me wonder if Aerial Ace is actually the way to go for a more skirmishing role late game. Maybe leaning on scoring pressure late game if appropriate could work too.

That is true, your target is primarily Attackers as a Speedster and you can't simply go directly into the heat of battle and expect to come out alive.

depends on which play-style you like more. if you like diving in and out of fights, doing a lot of damage, and jungling, then leafeon is your best bet. if you like being in a more supportive role and disrupting the opposing team with stuns or healing ally's and being more tanky and brawley, then umbreon!
