I could NEVER get over how touching this scene was. This is a mythical show, yet the emotions were so real! Of unconditional love, sacrifice, protection, not wanting the other to suffer. It took me a lot of courage to open this video, just because of how heartbreaking this was when he erases her memory and he ends up six feed under captured below ice.

What he should've done is to tell Piya that Maithali has frozen him and that Piya should find him and place her hand on the ice. That would've solved the problem soon. No need to erase the memory, to need to wait one year. He would have been rescued the same day from the ice.

AHHH THE MOST SADDEST EPISODE OF THE ENTIRE SERIES! 😭😭 Poignant, yet beautiful and had so much significance. When everything ended in a snow....💔❤️ Vivian and Sukirti did a great job here! To think this is the ending Ekta had actually wanted to give to the serial. She had wanted to make Abhay die but Star One postponed its shutdown and again made her modify her track of the show. Being a Abhay-Piya fan, I wouldn't have accepted a sad ending like this.🙈 But I also don't accept the one we actually got at the end which was pretty not fitting to the show. The makers had wanted to give a dark ending to this show and I think I would have very much preferred that for my Abhay-Piya. Either Piya turning herself into a vampire for Abhay or just a cliffhanger ending to the series - those would have stayed true to the kind of show PKYEK actually was! Although this would probably be my last episode since not a big fan of the messy post leap phase, except for some Abhay-Piya bits here and there, I might end up coming back here after my exams are over and rewatch it again from the start because this show is a beauty.❤️

Abhay Piya's love story actually started from here where piya saved him from the ice . Why would they keep abhay piya unfinished by making this episode last like seriously. The shutting down news came around September 2011 not may 2011 when this episode was aired . And yeah somewhere I feel like the end should have been different like abhay dead and piya left alone and than after piya finishes her life she reunite with abhay in heaven. Or like both abhay piya dead or both turned into vampires. But actually abhay never liked his existence that's the reason he never wanted piya in his life and he never made maithili a vampire that's why to complete abhay piya love story abhay had to turn into human . Post leap track was unnecessary stretched where again soo much problems occurred between abhiya. They should have give abhiya a sad ending because that pairing was a chaos else nothing.
