tbh rudeus makes a lot of mistakes in this show, atleast he corrects them again, but he keeps losing and losing more because of that, just like how he lost paul, because he wasn't paying attention and already thought of victory

Anime depicted the fight wrongly, though. I'm not sure if you read the LN, but during the Hydra fight, Rudeus kept his foresight during the whole fight. Once the Hydra is down to its last head; it begins to use stumps of the other necks so fast(Final Dick move). Everyone was fully aware of it since this isn't their first rodeo with a dungeon, unlike Rudy, who was inexperienced in battle and dungeon. Rudy COULDN'T see, his vision was blurry and partially block. Rudy doesn't have touki, which is a battle aura that enhances his speed and strength(Swordsmen have this), which the anime left out important details. Someone did analyze the fight, and the one who's not in position was Elinalise. And I'm pretty sure Paul asked Rudy to ask questions regarding the teleportation incident. That's why all reactors panic. Even Rudy in the LN his monolog describe he shouldn't ask but instead he should since it seemed he was important.
