As mental health professional, there is a saying in our field. "Every therapist needs a therapist." Not sure how this working for her. I do not except my therapist to be perfect, however at less have common sense, and good problem solving skills. First of all, you cannot solve petty with petty, I would have directed all correspondences with those women back to him, if he could not address it, then it's proof to where he is at in the relationship and how much he value her comfortability. This appears as if two narcissists got together, believing they needing each other, yet fighting over whose needs come first and pushing away. Both appear deeply insecure, low self-esteem is boosted by the narcissist's attributes that can be a positive. Nevertheless, the relations is definitely dysfunctional .
