No doubt she could have handled the relationship differently. However, most women have a gut feeling when their significant other is cheating; some choose to ignore it. If he really wanted to reassure her, on one of those 'business' trips, he could have taken her with him and introduced her to the ex or introduced her via Zoom After all, she is an equal partner in the business. It's almost as if he had something to hide. Too bad he wasn't man enough to tell her in person before the show that he wanted to dissolve the relationship. The anatomy of female cheating vs male cheating. When a couple is BF/GF and they've expressed they are being exclusive and per-marital and the man has sex with someone else, everyone says he was "cheating" (even though they weren't married or took a vow). But if the GF cheats they make excuse, she made a "mistake" or was "finding herself", she was "exploring her options" etc. Somehow her being unfaithful is *empowering* but the male is a low down bum. Often her girlfriends will spread socially that the unfaithful GF was "driven to do it". Why is that never the males option? In this court case, I'm sorry, if he had been cheating? He was driven to it. and the "mistake"? was all hers, she is the mistake.
