Mhairi Black grilled the prime minister over calls for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
The deputy leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) made the comments as Israel continues to bombard the territory as it continues its campaign against the Hamas militant group.
The prime minister responded by saying that the UK had upped its humanitarian contribution to Gaza and would explore calls for a pause in fighting.

It is interesting that he felt the need to mention Israel's right to defend itself before expressing his concern about British citizens in Gaza. No other nation besides US, feel the need to prioritize another nations interest over their own like the UK when it comes to Israel. Reminds me when Israel killed Canadian solders who were stained as peace keepers a decade ago in Lebanon. The Canadian PM choose to defend Israel's action rather than condemn them for the killing of our service men and women.
