Hi Nisha. I threw out the plug for my TightEye bottle as well. I was getting tired of that little clump of hard product coming out each time I used it, so I cut off the end of a toothpick and stuck that in the hole. It works like a charm and now there is no hard clump that comes out each time. Laurie

Actually, the statistic you cite about the most sun damage being done in the first 20 years has long been disproven, so we have a better shot at staving off aging with SPF than once thought. Also, as an FYI, in order for SPF to be truly effective, it needs to be applied as the very first item in your skincare routine. At least that is what my derma told me. You can also Google it.

I added a balancing toner (Paula's Choice) because my research highly suggests that the vitamins, AHA, serums, and all that don't work if the skin isn't ph balanced.

I have heard that the Retin-A micro gels penetrate a bit deeper and cause a bit more peeling than the creams. Perhaps since you started with that one your face is better adjusted to the cream now and thus you aren't getting any peeling. That would be my guess. Thanks as always for sharing your routine.

Hi Nisha! I purchashed the Tight Eye right after your first review of it. Im enjoying it and also skipped using a cloth for the same reason. I also bit the bullet and purchased the Sunday riley Good genes. I alternate it with my Retin-A. Honestly I dont see the hype. Perhaps ive been using the retin-a to long because I dont thing it done anything the retin-a has already done. Much like you, I do not expect miracles anymore from skincare. I will stick to it ,but, do see myself getting the botox soon...lol

Hey Nisha, when you use the Tight Eye Serum, when it's drying, do you notice your under eye area looks even more wrinkled? My area looks puckered and wrinkled until I wash it off. It's a bit disturbing to see because I look so much older. I have been using a warm wash cloth to take it off and I will now try just cool water.

Have you tried Kaysa beauty for your retin A? They have it for a great price and I believe they ship internationally. I have tried their eye lash and brow serum when I ran out of my favourite Eyenvy and didn't find it did anything. Eyenvy is a great product for lashes. My lashes are so long and full when I use it and 1 bottle lasts for at least 6 months used every night. In Canada a few salons carry it. Have a great day and I love your videos.
@lupulw
@lupulw 8 жыл бұрын
Hi I'm in Alberta. I started using the eyenvy about 2 years ago when my lashes started balding in places not a good look. I went from that to people commenting on how long my lashes were. The place I was getting it from was quite a ways away so I thought I would try the Kaysa brand which didn't work well. Then it turns out my neighbour who has a salon across the road has it haha. So happy with the results. I used the .025 retin a. I tried the gel but I like the cream better. I am now using the .05 retin a. I like Kaysa beauty but it is such a small company you don't get any verifications that they have sent it or anything. I am always happy to see their package in the mail. Wendy

Great videos, I have followed many of your recommendations, I think they are all working. It's only been about 1m.5 months : ) I was curious about your retin-a regimen. I remember watching your 3 month mark and you were so unhappy with it. Evidently, you kept with it. How long has it been now? I am using .25 2x per week, on my second month. I use obagi 5 with it, so far so good. Seeing you talk about retin a in this video gives me encouragement that all works out. You look great, thanks for all your tips.

I thought you'd like to know that gel based retin-A (tretinoin) is usually alcohol based so some of peeling could be due to the drying affect of alcohol. Additionally, alcohol is used because it enhances skin penetration of the active ingredient. Obviously I'm not commenting on the quality of the product you bought online, I just thought you'd like to know that the gel based retin-A products are alcohol based, this is also why the concetration of the active ingredient is less (you're getting more of the active ingredient deeper into the skin, therefore the concentration doesn't have to be as high). I hope this helps you or your viewers.

Thank you for sharing this, Nisha.....I'm always so curious about what gorgeous women, like you, do to keep their skin looking so fresh everyday. Since I watch all of your videos, none of this was a surprise, but it's still interesting. I'm glad the Science Serum works for you. I ordered a bottle when Angie first showed it on her channel. I tried to like it and used it for weeks. It made my under eye skin peel, my eyes were always irritated and itchy, then when I finally gave up and was going to try to send it back, the little pump broke! LOL!! So, I thought, "They'll think I abused this thing and won't refund my money." So, it's just sitting in the cabinet waiting to be thrown away....😳 But, my oh my, it definitely works for you! You are aging backwards, darling! Have a super Sunday!! ❤️ xoxo Lisette

The Retin A cream that you held up in your video was a white and blue tube.. is it the one that you listed in another video Kaysa Beautfy.. the Blue and White tube on her site is TAZRET TAZAROTENE GEL .05%.. is this the one? Have you went lower in strength? i just ordered one on Ebay.. my first time.. it's made in India. Hope it's not expired. The seller had good reviews. For us in the USA.. you do have to have a Dermatologist and not only that, if you want your insurance to pay for it, there has to be a medical need such as possible pre cancerous cells on your face or adult acne, etc. And with that unless you have GREAT Insurance it may or may not pay and if it doesn't it's over a $100 based on the size of the tube or strength. Thank you for your tips...
