Full Face Highlighter Challenge ♡ Chit Chat GRWM Using Highlighters!

I put highlighter over every surface of my face. I apologize if some of you think I did it horribly because I didn't make myself look (as you say) "stupid"'. I did the challenge my way - I wanted to see how wearable I could make it. Give me a break. It was still super highlighted and reflective. I use natural lighting, so again, sorry if you think it isn't INTENSE enough. I didn't realise there were so many rules to this challenge. I hope you can enjoy the video for what its worth. There are so many horrible things happening today in the world and it upsets me that people think this is such a huge offence. Thanks for reading.

The fact that people are complaining that she did this challenge wrong is so ridiculous! This challenge/tag doesn't even have any official rules to begin with so you could literally do whatever the heck you want as long as it is highlighter oriented and shiny. She did used foundation, but she also explained thats it was to even out her complexion and it makes everything you put on top look better. And I also feel the need to point out that she was saying she felt like a lot of this was different and wrong compared to how she normally does her makeup (for example the shimmer in her crease and contour areas) so yea, she totally went out of her comfort zone! People need to chill. Plus, lets not forget the fact that this is Shannon's channel and she can do her makeup HOWEVER SHE WANTS TO. She follows her own rules and I respect her for that.

Personally I'm actually glad this look didn't turn out overly dramatic like everyone else's has. It's an unintended twist on the "normal" version of the highlighter challenge/tag. You looked absolutely stunning and like a glowing goddess ready to slay the fuckin haters with your powerful beams of light reflecting off your beautifully highlighted face. 😍😍😍😍😍 if only people got this butt hurt and opinionated over actual problems of the world, not a highlighter challenge. but oh well..

This might be my favourite Full Face Highlight I've seen so far. It looks so fun! I mean, y'know, still crazy, but also awesome. And I for one definitely think using a bit of foundation and concealer was a good way to go - gives a nice base so you can play with the product you're interested in a bit more. BTW, you should absolutely make a face hair removal video. I'm so curious about how to deal with it.

People comparing Nikki to Shannon is kind of redundant because they are two completely different types of make up channels. Shannon's looks are always very wearable weather it be day-to-day or for a night out, whereas Nikki does a lot more celebrity inspired looks, challenges, and recently snap chat filters. She also does makeup inspired from films etc. I love both girls equally, but Shannon's looks are nearly always more wearable in my opinion, and she's just done the same with this highlight challenge. There's no rules to it after all, it's only make up!

I like that this is different to the other videos that have already been made, why would you want to watch the same video 15 times? Some people have taken it literally and done nothing but highlight, others have done a face full of highlighter with some regular makeup as a base and some have just done an ultra glowy-wearable look. What I don't understand is how haters are saying she did it wrong because she used foundation and concealer (eh hem- to even her skin so the products would go on better, as well as using shimmer over the top??) when nikkietutorials and Jeffree star both used matte lipsticks, while Shan did not. Surely if we can give them a pass for matte lipstick, we can give Shannon a pass for using something to even out her skin tone and overall create a base where the highlighter would be more accentuated?!!

Can people please stop with the petty comments about how Shan didn't "didn't do it properly" it is her channel and she can decide to do the videos however she pleases, she would have spent ages editing this video getting it ready for us all to then receive people telling her she did it wrong, leave her alone!
