Hey I'm really pale aswell, similar to Melissa but with a green undertone and I only really use illamasqua. They don't have any olive/green undertones so I've started putting a bit of green concealer in it! Maybe you could try that if there's a foundation you want to try but can't find a match. L. A girl have a darker green and revolution have a mint green so you could play about with it 😊

The tatcha Putty Primer balls up on me, it doesn't matter what I do differently. It ticks me off as it's so expensive, my little cheapie elf Putty Primer doesn't do that which is amazing. It's a shame that the revolution one does that, it's good to know!

In normal daylight hold a a tshirt or something like that up to you, a pink one, a yellow one and a green one. You'll be able to see what colours show out on yor skin. Because you look cool toned.

You definitely do not have a yellow undertone. If you got some sun, you might be neutral (peachy), but your current undertone is definitely pink.

@@Makemeupmissa 🤷‍♀️ Not insulting you, just offering this in response to you saying you were still trying to figure it out. I analyzed skin for a long time for a living. My assessment is that you’re cool, because you lack a sufficient amount of theomelanin (which is the yellow toned melanin white people produce) to neutralize the pink coming through from your blood vessels, pale skin being translucent as it is. If you developed a little more melanin, your skin would look more peach, or neutral in skin temp terms. You’d need a lot more melanin to get to yellow, or a different genetic background. Blue eyed northwest Europeans aren’t a warm toned bunch. Also you used Nars Oslo for quite a while, right? That’s my shade. It’s very cool. You and I actually look a lot alike. My skin also goes more neutral with a little tan.

@@vsm6847 😂 so sciencey, I can see it from any items that are next to Melissa, like the red book on the shelf is bringing out the pink and when she holds the pink pallete. I don't see any greens coming out when I look at the leaves, the gold things on the shelf arnt matching her skin the way silver would. I've been trying to train my eyes to see it because every foundation was too yellow or too pink for me and that's when I realised I was green.
