Hmm, I'm way off powder, having a dry and mature skin and noticing how much better liquid and creams look (and I prefer a more natural look anyway), but this comment is making me truly reconsidering that stance. @@misssunnydee Hi Miss Dee, I too have wrinkles, and it does NOT settle into lines. That’s why I love it. It doesn’t highlight the texture on my cheeks. I love cream products as well, but I struggle with cream highlights disturbing my foundation underneath and making it look patchy. 😭 I got mine at Walmart, back then it was around $5. I think now it’s almost $7.

@@hanC21317 I haven't found it in a European webshop yet, but maybe it'll come to my country one day. I won't forget 😉. Btw: have you tried 'stamping/stippling' any creams? Usually by making a striping or circling motion you move your skin and thus possibly the foundation on that skin. While I've stopped using foundation* years ago I did notice that the type of movement and tool can make a huge difference. If you're more oily or have a good hydrating spray that still sets perfectly you could also use a setting spray between steps, it'll definitely make disturbing layers almost impossible. (* even though I quit that, incl tinted moisturiser and BB creams bc I simply can't find the right combination of shade/hydrating/ non allergic response and minimal budget, I still experimented back then. I recently bought a new tinted moisturiser - and the tinted serum by L'Oréal discounted so it's €15,95 now instead of €25 and will try that foundation now - and by using a good contour cheek brush (revolution beauty has amazing ones with a dip for your cheeks and cheekbones) and either using my fingers stippling or that brush with setting the base first is really the best way for the creamy products that tend to disturb your foundation. NB. I've noticed that the more fluid and soft the less disturbing. Especially those stick blushes and bronzers are the worst - they're stickiest and thickest. Anyway, I hope these tips might help you. I love exchanging useful tips. I'm not an MUA or other expert, but I AM mostly self-taught because I'm a dinosaur 😆. When I was in university the internet had just started to become a consumer thing. So when I started makeup as a teenager stores had limited stock, we didn't have makeup brushes (other than those awful short black q-tip lookalikes), everything was powder based and only expensive women's magazines had general tips to look good, though more often colour related than actual tutorials. So it was trial and error. Mostly error 🤦‍♀️🤭. But it does help me nowadays in working with new products.
