You are beautiful! I am 71 years old and have never worn much makeup of any kind. I had a makeup artist do my complete face and after she said she didn't like the makeup on me. I was 41 years old then and still the natural look with lipstick was the prettiest on me. I have light olive skin with very dark brown (almost black) hair, eyelashes and brows. I love the suggestion to clean your brows off before putting anything on them. I noticed my benefit brow setter was getting to be the color of my foundation from the remains so lately I've been doing my brows first and being careful with my foundation! Great look, Risa. The look is beautiful! CG makes some amazing products! I am a recent devotee of that highlighter in pearl crush thanks to you. I love it. I, too, don't fare well with mini-cactus type mascara wands for all the reasons you stated, so I sadly pass by CG's mascaras (which get great reviews). FYI- Wet-n-Wild makes a great brow pencil (Ultimate Brow pencil in taupe) which comes with a spoolie on the end. Being a brown-eyed blonde, I get hung up between "blonde" and "soft brown" as well.Taupe is the preferred shade which usually works best for me. Thanks for very helpful, honest information. 😀

I finally got the foundation I have been waiting for it to show up in my store since your original video. I wore it the first time the other day and I loved it. It worked better for me than some of the more expensive ones I have tried. It didn’t emphasize my texture and lasted well(I did use a setting spray but no primer under) I didn’t notice a smell with the foundation either. Gonna try that eye palette those colors are beautiful. Thanks💜

Now I'm wanting to try that foundation! I love a 3 in 1 product!! I don't usually wear concealer since I use a color corrector underneath my foundation on the under eye, and it usually covers my darkness and even conceals somewhat of my hollows around my eye bags, but I think I'll have to try out the concealer too! As far as CG lipsticks, I'm old school and like the Continuous Color in the shade, Bronzed Glow. I know that particular line isn't for everyone since it's pretty frosty, but I enjoy the metallic glow of that particular color. I'm a 70s woman so it fits my vibe! Their Oulast 2 in 1 All Day with Topcoat lip colors are good, but you definitely need that clear balm that comes with it, because the color alone is VERY DRY. But after you put the balm on, it's more comfortable, no smell and stays put!

I actually bought this foundation and did a video review on it.. wore it a fee times but realized it need to be combined with another product to not settle into fine lines and wrinkles! Overall a great full coverage makeup!

Risa, the Advanced Radiance (the purple compact) is the good pressed powder. I keep it in my purse. I really like the two-step lip stains of old (that come with the separate balm). 740 is a unique shade. It's an opalescent purply-magenta. I also have two metallic lipsticks, and they're fun and sparkly as toppers. Those just smell a little crayon-like when pulling out of tube, but can't smell once on lips.

I have the TrueNaked Roses palette just because I love Cover Girl and I absolutely love purple 🙃 I found that all the shades are beautifully pigmented and true to color. I also found out that the shimmers apply best with fingers than brushes. Love your videos by the way 😍

Thank you Risa! I bought the foundation because of you but yes, hard to find a good shade match! One concealer I accidentally discovered is the Revlon Candid Concealer. It’s beautiful for my 37 year old under eyes that are a little wrinkly from being in the sun all my life. The foundation is not bad either but the concealer is fantastic. It’s all I use, even though I have hundreds of dollars of high end concealers!

That foundation looks amazing on you. I love the matte made one, I wonder if it similar just more coverage? Cover girl makes some really good products! I have that roses eyeshadow palette that you used and it is powdery but very good! I really like their eye primer, it’s replaced my urban decay primer potion and it’s way cheaper. I also really love that concealer as well.

When I was last in the USA in 2019 I bought 6 back ups of the CG Exhibitionist mascara 🤣 I love a regular bristle wand like you, I can’t stand those rubber mascara wands. Good job I stocked up in 2019 because I’d say it’ll be 2022 when we can travel again 😩😂

I tried 100 porcelain for a peachy look. Two products come with it.... dry color and a balm top coat. It's really pretty on, feels nice, and I didn't notice a strong smell. I bought this foundation after I watched your last video on it. I really like it, but I do mix it with CeraVe PM moisturizer, just 2 pumps and it goes on nicely. I am 66 so I found foundations now look too cakey without me cutting it in some way. I am using 840 Natural Beige, it is a perfect match for my skin, it would seem to me that it is right in between your 820 and 845. I can't smell anything about this foundation. Elf has a pointed powder brush that I just purchased today, this seems a good one to put your translucent powder on with. I haven't tried it yet. I was going to see how well it took my blush. Thank you for the tip on the concealer, I have tried so many products. I use a toothbrush to take away extra foundation from my brows (and sometimes wiping them) and to brush them up before putting brow pencil on it. I also started using a soft blonde pencil on my eyebrows, on your recommendation I like the way it looks and I put Anastasia of Beverly Hill brunette brow gel on over to cover any stray grey hairs. Risa, I love the way your lipsticks look. Very pretty. I just purchased the Mabelline Luster lifting gloss. Looks nice, but the shade was a bit too dark on me. Thank you for this video it was very informative.

They used to make a bullett lipstick 20+ years ago that was attached to cardboard packaging and it was my holy grail lipstick of1996 along with maybelline expert wear foundation and powder and great lash mascara. The CG Lash Blast curved mascara in the green tube is my absolute holy grail mascara. It’s the best for a first layer. Wish you would have tried one! I think they have a few other mascaras that have regular brushes vs the rubber too.

The Outlast Extreme foundation is great....shades are tricky but worth mixing ..I’ve only used Este Lauder double wear for over 25 years so to find a drugstore foundation I’m happy with says a lot! So wonderful to be able to save the dollars because Doublewear is pricey...I’m thrilled to find something I’m happy with from the drugstore!

I love it so much! I actually had to get up and smell mine because I never noticed a smell before and I have a really good sniffer! You’re right-they do have a smell! I have to mix creamy natural and classic ivory.. and I use a NYX moisturizing primer because this is a little too matte for someone with dry skin....off topic..have you tried NYX Angel Veil primer?? It’s sooooo beautiful, velvety blurr... fills in lines seamlessly💕💕💕💕

Keeping in mind, the colors I’ve seen you wear, you need to check out; 240 Caramel Kiss ( cream ), 050 Baddest Beige ( shine), 240 Caramel kiss ( baiser au caramel), 610 Hustler Fougueuse The formulas on all these are rich and creamy.
