Expensive makeup is usually expensive because of its packaging, not the quality of the products. Try out makeup products from cheaper brands and you’ll notice a huge difference in the quality

What some people do not understand; even though these items are at a dollar store doesn’t mean they are “bad”. There are several reasons they aren’t in other stores anymore. For example the original company was bought out over “name brand” items. Or the said business person didn’t want to be in business anymore and sold those items, etc. Most, if not all dollar store items were most likely used by my generation as their typical everyday make up. 80s & 90s to name those years.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ioni products are great. I keep seeing people loving that foundation , minus the crappy shade range (which I think is a single color)😂 but even makeup artists who’ve tried it love the formula too, as well as the Ioni (Benefit dupes) and the pressed powder you showed. Also heard the Lip Jelly they sell at the dollar store is a dupe for the Tower 28 lip jellies. Other than the Ioni and lip jellies, I can say having gotten them myself, you need the Bath and Beauty brand Makeup Brush Cleaner. It’s a dupe for the Cinnamon Secret, a no rinse needed formula that works incredibly to spot clean and use right after. The LA Color trio palette shadows is also a must have. Can’t go wrong with most in that brand, imo.
