2024 and just trying most of these, but i love elf. 98% off my makeup and skincare are from elf but don't wear a lot of makeup. But LOVE everything I've ordered from elf for sure! Their putty primers are my favorite!! Can't wait to try their new vitamin c putty primer. I love their vitamin c serum. I've seen a huge difference in my skin texture and complexion since I've started using it about a week ago. I have the new blue retnoid oil on the way and i can't wait to try it!

I've been using a rounded foundation brush to apply my gripping Primers bc using my fingers to apply gives me the ick. It's been working so well!!

Yes! I use elf’s putty primer applicator brush to put on a lot of primers and it works so well

The issue being with these types of primer is they need the warmth of your fingers ideally to work at their best. They’ll work ok but not to their full abilities by using a brush or sponge unfortunately. I don’t like touching these particular ones either, but for the sake of getting the most out of them I do it lol.

Is the power grip primer tackier than the mint melt? I actually used the mint melt the other day for longevity in this California heat paired it with setting powder and Charlotte tilbury setting spray and even though I was sweating, my makeup was not disturbed. I sweat A LOT and I have super dry skin so I was surprised by how much I liked the mint melt! Makeup tip: if you sweat a lot like me, like a lot..no seriously A LOT; then the best thing to do is just don’t powder or blot or swipe the sweat and if you use the right products your makeup won’t come off even with sweat on your face. Almost like the mint melt and CT setting spray allows the base to stay intact. When I looked at my makeup when I got home it wasn’t too bad

I just discovered your channel and the second you started matching your foundation to your neck/body I hit subscribe. Matching foundation to my face without making my neck look off has been a struggle because I refuse to put make up on my neck. WHY did I not think of this?? I’m super oily but i love that fresh faced dewy look so much 🥲 Used the halo glow liquid filter as my all over glowy base with a pore filling primer on my nose and cheek area, and applied the wet n wild tinted hydrator over the top. Set with mattifying powder and it looked surprisingly great all day while at work!! I’m finding that my skin is liking the hydration and therefore it doesn’t produce as much oil! I’m like reverse psycholog-ing my skin lol but this looked fantastic on you. Loved the full face of new elf for sure, they’re always launching something so it was nice to see it all in one video

I just picked up that sticky primer from elf last weekend and I am enjoying it....I prefer to wear powder foundations most of the time, but they were looking dry and cakey....so I started adding moisturizer (which I am sad to admit I didn't use enough) then a primer for my pores plus the elf primer and my foundation hasn't looked that good in I don't know how long....definitely going to stick to that routine from here on out.

Love your look! I have been using mine the same way but under foundation. I love it better than the CT. The finish is way different. To me CT has more of a satin finish. I wonder if you can use the sand dune no budge eye cream as a cream contour? I don't know if it will work for you with your skin tone, but it could be worth a shot. I have been looking for a good almost grey toned contour shade so that it mimics a shadow instead of being so browse.

@@sherihays4559 yes they have silicone in them. Look for silicone/dimethicone in the ingredients. It temporarily smooths the skin and can be worn alone or under foundation, milani have released erase paste which has been made for acne prone skin.
