Beautiful look, Nikkia! I also just received two of your brushes and the Aurora pigment. I used everything last night playing with makeup on a Zoom call with a friend. The E05 Firm Blend was perfect for deepening my outer crease and the E12 Pencil brush is FANTASTIC. It was so great for smoking out the lower lash line...much better than any other pencil brush I've used. Aurora is completely stunning on the lid, very pigmented and easy to apply. 😭 I’m so sorry you’re dealing with lupus. Most people have no idea how awful that is. I will say a prayer for you and stay strong! For the butterfly, have you tried topical antihistamine cream? I know that works for some people so long as it’s the kind that doesn’t conflict with other treatments and oral meds etc. and color correcting can be a total help! A slightly green base, very sheer, is what you want. That will help counter act the red. Then go in with your fav foundation and then afterwards if there are any red spots poking through you can use your fav concealer. That would be how I would tackle it I would also use a pounce motion with finger tips or maybe a sponge and not a sweep or drag or a brush so that you don’t irritate the skin or make it flaky so it won’t increase the texture Go for VERY matte and nothing dewy because any reflection will bring attention to every little bit of texture. You can use highlighter on a few smooth points on your face high on the cheekbones or even on your chin and lips to bring visual attention to your mouth or your eyelids to bring it to your eyes and then the skin will be out of focal attention and more blurred. You can even use a more dewy foundation anywhere not textured and just switch it up wherever you have bumpiness and blend it out gently with your fingertips. How are you on skin care for your rash? Have you found anything that helps to calm your skin down? Soothing the skin and quieting the reaction would be the best thing, of course. I’m guessing you’re already doing that so I’m sorry if it’s a stupid question, but just trying to be helpful 😂 I totally feel for your situation and I hope you get a tutorial. Or when you master it you could make a tutorial!! I bet there are lots of people that struggle with similar issues that just make an already frustrating diagnosis just that much worse and more difficult to accept and live with. If you do that it could really be helpful ❤️

@@sherryturner20 you’re so welcome. 😊 God bless you too and Merry Christmas! Just figured I’d throw in there that sleeping on your back and using a silk pillowcase can help. Any mechanical stimulation can cause a flare up in all cutaneous lesions, including the butterfly. So it’s worth a shot. Plus it helps reduce wrinkles 😂 There are videos on KZbin that help you train yourself to sleep on your back. And special pillows exist too. It’s worth a shot if you haven’t tried that. Any hard rubbing can cause it and usually everyone focuses so much on sunblock that it can get forgotten. Also just curious-have you tried L-ascorbic acid mixed into your sunscreen every day to stop the rash? Or tretinoin? I am just curious if a powerful antioxidant has any effect for you. Make sure you’re using a full teaspoon of sunscreen too! And I would use a mineral sunscreen and not a chemical one because it’s less irritating for sure! The Elta MD tinted sunscreen always gets rave reviews though I haven’t tried it personally. If you find a tutorial or a solution find me and let me know! I would be so curious to know and it would be nice for an update! You’ll find the right methods if you keep trying methodically and gently. God has got your back 😘

@@mamasays3378 no I haven't tried mixing anything into my sunscreen or the tretinoin. But I am going to and see if it helps any at all. When I do ,I will let you know what happens . I sleep on my back and have for many years. Thank God for your channel and your intelligence on so many questions that I have. I have tried experimental products from Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville to no avail.I know for sure God has my back, he's brought me through so much already. This one seems like a split love/hate with slightly more hate based on the comment section. I personally didn’t like it, but it didn’t make my video glitchy like it did for some. Too neurologically stimulating for me 😂 My brain has limits and so the backdrop sort of mildly irritates me. Has anyone see any negative comments that have been going around since Sheglam has grabbed every influencer to promote their products? Saw things about not being cruelty free, bad working conditions, etc..not sure if it’s true or not but can someone verify this is true?
