Ok here’s my BB story…I have been a huge fan of her since before her original brand. So I was shopping in NYC at Bloomies and I walk over to the BB counter and there she was..Bobbi herself. I almost fainted. I was young. She had just had an event and stopped in at the counter with some of her top artists. I got to meet her. As I was gushing to her about why I admired her and her brand she leaned over to her right hand woman, whispered to her. Before I knew it the artist escorted me to a room where she gave me a complete makeover! She assured me I was getting the full Bobbi signature look! She gifted me a beautiful BB train case that I still have❤️ it was a MOMENT!

I love this eye look! The fox eye and eye elongating styles have been so popular for years that I never see any other eye looks anymore, so this was super refreshing! With my eye and face shape, this eye style, and round, doll-like emphasizing, and more matte-focused eyeshadow styles suit me best (think 1960s eye looks), so this was great to see! I'm also so happy you shared that info about this being Bobbi Brown's signature eyeshadow style--as I can research her makeup looks for inspiration and hopefully find some tutorials I can follow.

I remember Mac's nylon days, Satin Taupe, and Nars Kashmir and Kingston single shadows. Buxom's single in Mink Magnet was a good one. I have an unused Mac 217 brush floating around somewhere, too. lol I really need to go through my singles and duos. Love the Bobby Brown Jones Road whole face look. Love the bronzer!

I like to do the inner corner and brow highlight when I’m doing a super simple look. Like I throw my bronzer in the crease and my highlighter in the inner corner and brow. I feel like it ties the whole face together and elevates the “no makeup” look.

Oh yeah, MAC Nylon was it! I still own that shade, but it’s old. I’ve never let go of the brow bone highlight, but I have adapted it so that it doesn’t look outdated.

Oh I would say it’s completely different! Face and Body is much thinner and has less coverage but is definitely more “wear” friendly! The wtf is more like an emollient tinted moisturizer. It’s thicker, and feels like a face cream❤️

That bronzer looks really orange 2 me ,I have the Jones Rd bronzer in dusty rose & I dnt like it bc i it looks 2 cakey on me like I have on way2 much makeup & a bronzer if its a good formula,it wil b sheer bc ur usually putting a bronzer over alot of other products like foundation, powder,blush, highlighter, ect,so a a bronzer should b an incredibly sheer formula otherwise it can look cakey like ur wearing 2 much makeup & that's wat this bronzer does,a bronzer should add color & brighten up ur skin & make u look like u have a natural,I was jus in the sun look, it shouldn't add a thick layer of makeup,I dnt use a bronzer 4 coverage & I dnt think a bronzer should be make u look cakey or make-upy & this 1 does,its not a natural sheer look like a bronzer needs2 b,I can literally put my makeup on lightweight even & it looks fine,then u use this bronzer & bc I have dry skin I can't wear thick makeup or it just drys me up, but I add this bronzer & suddenly my lightweight med.coverage makeup just looks incredibly dry, cakey, & heavy ,not smoothed at all either.& as soon as u applied the bronzer( in a different shade than I have) it looks orange 2 me, sorry but being honest.im just not happy with it,wish I had returned it wen I still could.i was gonna try the foundation bc I do have dry skin ,but after the bronzer disappointment,Im gonna pass 4 now bc I really hate getting makeup & then having 2 return it, especially makeup I get in the mail & I have2 ship it back & it takes 4ever,so I'm really getting picky & only ordering thinks I already kno that I like 2 b on the safe side
