@@emmalu1984 Nope! According to science, elevated hormone levels can cause less hair to fall out during a certain hair cycle phase, making hair appear more voluminous and bouncy. Hair past the follicle is "dead", so no amount of prenatals can change that! But they could potentially promote healthier root/scalp health. Such an interesting topic!

@@holymolyguacamole2142 Well, not sure about the science behind it, but there isn't a pregnant woman I know who didn't get better hair and nails while pregnant. What you said could explain the hair, but what about the nails? I've had extremely thin, easily breakable nails all my life and as soon as I got pregnant and started taking prenatals, my nails grew to thick, strong, and long for the rest of my pregnancy and about a month or so afterwards. Once I stopped taking them, within a month or so, my nails were back to their pathetic state before pre-natals. lol
