@@RobertWelsh have you tried the Believe Dollar General brand? ( US) It's not too terrible actually. haha I like the lipstick, foundation is ok. ( I ran out and it was a quick fix because I had to go out lol ) eye shadow is crap though haha I think you would have fun and it gives you a new brand to react to. Maybe haha

I never thought I'd see the day you review L.A. Colors. Robert, this actually means a lot to me because I grew up very, very poor and L.A. Colors is where my make up journey began. A lot of people simply don't have the money to spend on make up to feel nice about themselves and the way that they look, and these brands are all they can get. So seeing someone like you using them helps normalize using them and feeling acceptable wearing it, so thank you thank you, thank you 💜💜💜

It was so refreshing to watch a MUA/influencer on KZbin do a video about extremely affordable make-up without gagging, acting like it's all trash before even trying it, and acting ridiculous at the sheer thought of using cheap makeup. It was so good to see an genuine review, where you are honest about what's good and what's not, because a lot of people can't afford more expensive make-up and use these cheaper brands. I love your videos anyway, but I love them a bit more today

I definitely agree with your comments I love my brushes and I use a lot of the products. I love the apple lip scrub I apply first so when I do my lips my lips are super small and lipstick looks smooth

i personally love the foundations that come in the glass thing with the dropper. the foundation leaves my skin feeling hydrated. i know personally, some items didnt work for my combination skin but i can say that there is something for everyone

Yes, AOA & L.A. Colors is my jam! I like the L.A. Colors lip glosses, just the regular glosses, they smell a little like vanilla and something else. But I can't STAND Rose smell in anything!! Yuck! So glad you tried this website @Robert Welsh!! 💛🌻😁

@@SmizTokesFinest I love all of the blending sponges, the shimmery AOA velour mousse eyeshadows, AOA Lumi blushes and highlighters, Amuse silky blush, AOA brow pencils, AOA dry shampoo... honestly most of the AOA and charity brand stuff is pretty good. The only things I usually stay away from are cream products like eyeliners since they tend to dry out quickly (though the cream blushes are good)

I can. I bought a whole pack of fairly long double sided ones from Amazon. I use them a ton for shimmer shadows, creamy shadows (think colourpop supershock type), and metallics, etc. I have super hooded eyes and need small brushes. The sponges are perfect for fitting in my inner corner/ inner third of my lid and work really well with ND sparkly shadows. Yes I use them with my $100+ palette. lol

Robert, I love watching your videos. I started out as a young stay at home mother to 3 children under the age of 4 and having to save a few dollars each week out of our grocery money to buy cosmetics. I started out with super inexpensive drugstore makeup like this. I always managed to look put together and cute despite not having the best quality makeup. I made do with what I could afford. Flash forward 20 years later, I am able to afford high end makeup and skincare but still use a mixture of high end, as well as discount/drugstore products because some of them are awesome. Thank you for showing makeup and skincare options for people of all income levels. You can look fabulous no matter what your income level as long as you learn the techniques and tricks for makeup application. I was lucky to have a beautiful mother and grandmother who mentored me when I was young because we didn’t have the internet or KZbin in the 80’s. I love learning new techniques even at the age of 53. Thank you for being a great teacher for the younger generation

You’re so fun to watch. If you do this again, I would try all AOA Studio products with four stars or more. The cream blush, highlighter brush, argan oil or cocoa butter lip oil glosses, watermelon lip scrub and lip scrubber tool, baked blushes, and translucent pressed powder and highlighters are some of my faves. They are so great for the price.

I’ve never heard of the company but I love how your eyes came out and the foundation looks good on camera. I hate sticky, smelly lip glosses or lip stick. I received my Haus lip gloss yesterday and both of them were so sticky I had to take them off right away. Wayne Goss has wonderful lip glosses. That’s the texture I like. Great video 💓

Well.. let me just say... D H L ... SUCKS! That could be why. I have received several products and packages damaged because of them. Shopmissa also is constantly changing their shipping packaging. I think they're trying to figure out a way to fix that issue while staying in budget but really they just need to find a different shipping distributor or whatever 😂

Shop Miss A is literally a makeup-only dollar store. They even have physical locations. Not very many, but still. It's super hit 9r miss, as is to be expected, but there are so many products available that overall there are a lot of hits. The sponges in particular are kind of their hero product.

I actually have an L.A colors 4 piece shimmer eyeshadow, it was like a dollar I think. Anyway, I use it for my cut crease and if I put primer down and wet the brush when I dip in it actually works pretty damn good, can't tell the difference between that and my expensive ones. **Edit to say the foundations and concealers and stuff are awful.

I love Miss A so much! I've been shopping with them for like two years now and while a few products are hit and miss, I've been overall so happy and for someone who is learning makeup on a budget they've been a life saver.

I suggest using just the AOA brand studios. The baked blushes are on par with Milani baked blushes, they are stunning plus the velour creme shadows and the diamond lipgloss. Also the concealer is bulletproof.

Appreciate you doing a full face of Miss A. the LA Colors eye palette can be found in any Dollar Tree in the USA. I have never been able to get a decent color payoff from that brand. Would of liked to have seen you demo the Miss A AOA house brand for eyeshadow.

The AOA satin foundation is amazing and I love that concealer. Yes, their sponges are so good. Their velour one is my favorite. Great lashes too. I think the AOA brand is a bit more consistent and better quality.

I swear by their AOA studio perfect setting powder. I buy 3 at a time, LOVE it so much! They have mini eyeshadow palettes too, I have a purple one & it’s actually really decent quality but I assume that was one of the ones sold out when you looked! Love you Robert! Xoxo
