Don’t apologize for a 40 minute video. Every extra minute of Babs is a bonus for me!! I think you used a lot of great products this video. It’s annoying that the Lawless foundation can look so amazing but it’s so hard to find a shade that matches you well. The eye look is gorgeous and I think the lip color looks beautiful with it. I’ve stopped buying Hourglass products due to their lack of inclusivity, but I always think their holiday palettes are very pretty. I think you had a winning Trying New Makeup installment and your final look is 🔥!!

Sometimes, when you start a new look I get to thinking, “hmmm where is she going with this?” But by the end of the process, you are absolutely stunning. I totally LOVED the cake liner palette! They apply so nicely & they’re so deeply pigmented. But the SECOND my eye watered, the liner smeared big time (duh they’re water activated, not water-proof). Neither setting spray nor Duraline work w/these. I’m so glad I realized this before leaving for the Knotfest (last Sat. night in Hfd, CT - which was awesome btw😝). But that would’ve been a sweaty, tragic, black mess on my face 🤣lol.

I just got the cake liner & I was using setting spray thinking it would be the same thing … but wrong I was I’m going to try water next time !! They’re beautiful colors !!

@@mariellazavala72 - yea, nothing else I tried works as nicely as water. I LOVE the brownish-burgundy shade when I wear my green contacts & the navy blue makes my brown eyes pop & look so big!👍❤️ But it’s such a HUGELY unfortunate thing that these don’t work well T all w/any of my setting sprays, it doesn’t work at all w/duraline & I even tried this other mixing medium that’s specifically for mixing pigments & nothing gets as smooth & color-saturated as water. The mixing mediums & setting sprays don’t offer any staying power or longevity. These really only work well with water. The problem is I sweat so much (hormones, ugh 🙄!) & when I sweat or go out in the cold my eyes water so there’s really no chance for success for me w/these. I can only hope that SOMEONE comes out with some waterproof cake liners because they really are amazing.

The Niacinamide is a great product for clogged pours it keeps them clear. I’ve been looking into a VI peel it’s supposed to be a great peel for texture acne marks Melasma ya know all that good stuff
