My soft brown eyeshadow developed hard pan. But, I take a mascara spoolie and run it lightly over the eyeshadow taking off the top layer. It helps make it useable again. It's my favorite transition shade and first time it's ever done that with this pot. Anyway, just a tip. :-)

Beautiful look! Your have a wonderful natural contrast with your very fair skin and very dark hair and brows. The great thing about that is that you can use just about any color in your makeup combinations, or so it seems to me. It's like a blank white canvas, that takes everything easily and blends beautifully. I love your pale look. I'm a bit pale too, but being a bit older, I always use a good grade sunscreen always. That is most likely why my skin is in great shape for my age. See you next time! XOXOX

i had that beauty blender forever, like over a year, so i felt like i should change it so i went back to the regular pink one and kept the black pro one for my halloween makeup and i miss it! lol at first they don't look so different but they totally are! my burgundy x 9 palette is my favorite! however my star violet totally seemed to get hard pan.. maybe I've used it with fix + too much? it's definitely my most used shadow from the palette.

I absolutely love the black one over the pink one! So I understand 😃 Yes, if the pan is constantly getting wet, it will develop hard pan. Especially since the pan is already so small to begin with. 😓

Oh No! Now I need these shadows!! Mel, I have heard people say that the singles and the large MAC palettes are superior to the x9 palettes. Any truth to that?

+Marianna Kump there is a little truth to that, depending on the palette. (in my opinion) I have more troubles with the amber one. the macnificent me one, I have no issues with and then it's only a couple in the burgundy. So, not bad...but not the same. if you only wanted 4 colors from the palette, i'd build it online or in a MAC store for just a few dollars more. (10$ each plus price of the empty palette)

I like to be fair as well, I'm a nw20 and love it lol. have you tried the real techniques beauty blender? I prefer it to the original. You are right, when it works why change it! it doesn't bother me one bit 😉
