I couldn’t agree more. I so preferred when makeup related KZbinrs experimented with different colour combos/an unusually dark lip/quirky geometric eyeliner etc. In saying that, I do enjoy the softer base nowadays in comparison to the full glam, matte version. For me personally, a sheerer base with pops of colour on eyes/lips is the winner.

So many good choices Elanna. Finjan was a buy because of you and the Too Faced bronzer is still one of the best (never orangey). MAC for mattes is still my favourite brand. 🦋🦋

I also hv the same thought with u.. no matter how much new foundation right now..I found myself always going back to nars sheer glow. I hv normal-dry skin, but the formula is a perfect match on my skin. Easy to blend, smooth, dewy but not over, long lasting.. just love it! Hopefully ur multiple stick can shipping to southeast asia particullar in malaysia. Love the color.

I’m also a huge fan of the CT hff, it’s just so good! I use under foundation, mixed w foundation, highlight on top, I also love to mix with my concealer because helps to blend & melt it into my skin seamlessly

What concealer are you mixing with it? I have a really hard time with concealers and own the flawless filter already- I hate it on my face it with foundation, but maybe with concealer!!! It’s currently not working with my own. What concealers have you used that worked??

@@crystaldingman773 my latest fave combo has been with elf hydrating camo. But I’ve also used it with CT’s magic away & too faced born this way. Basically when I’m looking to sheer out the concealer a bit- it tends to plays nicer with the flawless filter mixed in. I’d love to know how it works for you ♥️

I really don't like CT Hollywood Filter. Makes my skin very cakey and dry after washing it off and I'm getting pimples from it. But I will give it another try and will put it on like you did in that video. I usually used it as full face base under my Nars Tinted Moisturizer. ..maybe it was just too much product. Going to stick my head over the parapet to say that while I don't exactly HATE Hollywood Flawless Filter, for me it's absolutely not worth the money. I got the L'Oréal Glow Cherie lotion (after you recommended it in one of your videos!) and enjoyed it so I thought I would love HFF as they are similar, but I just always find myself reaching for the Glow Cherie over HFF because it's easier to work with and gives an even better glow for me. 🤷‍♀️

I love the Flawless filter and usually mix mine in with my foundation :). I guess I'm one of the few that still wears powder highlighter haha, but only because I still like to set everything, so it goes over my already set face :).
