Anna clearly has bad habits from shiai kumite (point scoring competition) with her high ura mawashi geri. She got grabbed and fell nearly every single time she used it. Karate is really efficient as a martial art, but the sensei/dojo must prepare their students for both combat (jyu) AND competition (shiai) situations.

If they faced a boxer in the ring they would get knocked out straight away because they always fall in or come in without defending or dodging the punches, I think Bruce Lee's technique of Jeet kune do would also be very affect in this forum because it also focused on taking advantage of intercepting people while they were striking or employing your gameplan on others who's gameplan goes out the window when they run out of moves, then they start winging it

Chamar o pessoal do Goju Ruy tradicional, O Ueshi Ryu, Seiwakai, Kyokushin, seido karatê dentre outros aí que são bem mais agressivos, pq a gente vê muito lutador do Karatê combat lutando parecendo que está em um torneio olímpico.

They should watch how Bruce Lee used his legs in Way of the dragon, he used them like his hands, he would jab with either the right leg to the closet part of the oponents leg and thigh and use the left leg like a left hook and then go up to the head with the right leg, he managed to employ his technique where as fighter's technique today goes out the window and they either end up boxing or wrestling

The girl in the black is so freaking sloppy! The girl in the white is trying to fight. But the girl in the black do not know how to throw a straight right and block combination. It's so frustrating, to the point if frustrated the referee as well me. Like in any other traditional martial art. You can have a good combat and fight within that martial art. But you need to people who are highly skilled at the art of combat versus karate Kata. I'm not going to lie, if I was the ref I'll probably be doing the same thing. Both Fighters are too immature, they both needed more dark matches. Before putting them on a live showing. You can be mad at the referee all you want, but you have to put yourself in the coaches shoes too! I rather have an annoying referee doing their job, versus some brute referee that just want to see the dog fight!

@@romanwolicki3069 If karate combat was looking for a scenario in which to see a more realistic karate, it did not succeed, this only seems like WKF with full contact, in a street situation there are no referees, and karate offers a wide range of techniques to deal with In such situations, I am not saying that they take the referee out but that the rules should be more adjusted to reality while maintaining the safety of the fighters.

Discordo com todo o respeito. O árbitro interviu de maneira correta, pois a colombiana ficava agarrando na camisa da brasileira, a brasileira ficava agarrando atrás da nuca da colombiana, e as duas tiveram sua atenção chamada quando o árbitro decretou time breake e elas continuaram a se atacar. Sem contar a dificuldade de comunicação entre o árbitro e a colombiana, porque este deu várias vezes o comando de não agarrar a camisa, e ela, por não falar inglês, continuou fazendo. Enfim, isso é karate, não MMA, as regras são um pouco mais "chatinhas" pra continuar no full contact, e não partir pro grappling.
