Battle of the jabs. I quite enjoyed it. If you have a short attention span or don’t understand boxing or don’t have the patience for what goes on before the set up KO you’ll find this fight boring. These types of boxing matches are like football matches that go scoreless up until the final minute. Those goals are appreciated more when you’re invested in the whole 90 minutes. Same with boxing. I will say, Ajagba needs to take more risks. He did the same - scared to have moments of risk taking against Frank Sanchez. That’s the only thing holding him from title contention fights.

Very cautious, don't want to get hurt fight. I liked Ajagba's bodywork and Shaw's counterpunching. However, Shaw is too cautious to beat anyone higher up the ranks and Ajagba gets caught in the head too much to beat anyone higher up the ranks. Shaw knows his way around-can move well, defend well and puch well. Ticks all the boxes-he can hold his own but might be better as a Cruiserweight. (Looked a tiny bit soft). On the otherside Ajagba if he leaves his right hand go will truly be a force to we reckoned with. Nigeria is a country made of fighters- spared with three and each were formidable. Has all of Wilders type and a longer reach- perhaps he didn't leave his right arm go because of Shaws punch! A draw would not have been unfair.

Shaw won that fight smh he had the speed, and the skills and showed he can fight on the inside and the outside, he showed his ability to fight coming forward and also fight on the back foot, Shaw had good timing and a great Jab, his footwork was on point for a heavy guy and was the more technically gifted fighter, he landed and connected more power punches, and had the better defence, plus shaw-controlled the range and pace of the fight, Shaw had better ring iQ and was just the better fighter 💪 ajagba is pretty much a basic and standard fighter he does have power and a decent jab but he can't cut the ring off and apply pressure, he lacks ring iQ and doesn't know how to set up and land the big punches but he does have the bigger name and another loss at this stage of his career won't land him the big fights they've certainly got plans for ajagba that's why they robbed Shaw of his well-deserved Victory

Efe Ajagba has just acquired the best body work skill-set known to me in the heavy weight division. However, he really has a lot more work to do, if he's to face any swift footed, power packing peer out there, even just as swift as Sanchez. He's got more room to move his head and his legs I'm sure, have more strength to bounce about. While his head had been quite able to eat power punches without questions, he shouldn't let it be such an affordable target... Efe Ajagba has noticeably improved but the sky is his limit, I believe. Immediately after Shaw got baptized with Ajagba's right power punch in the 2nd or 3rd round, he became far too aware of it and, this locked him in throughout the fight. Furthermore, Shaw had no reply for all the jabs cum dangerous body shots landed by Efe. If Ajagba had had little more faith in his quite remarkable body works, Shaw would've caved in not later than the 7th round.
