Hey brotha I appreciate that! I think I just found a way to film again with a better resolution. I just realized its not the best and it is kind of skipping. It looks so much better on my computer. I will put a better version up tomorrow! You can really see the detail in everything.

How fun Josh. Great opportunity to knock some of the "ring rust" off. The appreciation of the sport aspect and the sportsmanship is clearly evident. Your critique of the the early rounds focuses on the shots landed and the consequences of the strategic choice to step on the gas early. However, there is some lessons there how you remained elusive through the fight and defense (despite feeling tired). Tactically not what you wanted but some good examples of rope work and head movement; lots of shots thrown but low percentage landed. Also, several examples of counter punching and timing. The internal mental game and the in moment thinking is not typically covered in a lot of fight analysis videos. It brings more of a coaching element to the review; may consider analysis of other fights in the future. Kudos.

I appreciate the fact that skill can overcome someone who is almost twice your own size. And I appreciate that your ego seems to be nowhere near as big as any of these other guys involved in this event. It's always the people who actually know how to perform violence who are humble, not the wannabe-badasses. Thanks for this video because I am probably about to have a real actual fight with a few animal abusing shit bags in my neighborhood, and I dont think they know that I have been both shooting and fighting since I was 5 years old.

You definitely can make KZbin as a career. You have that "it" factor. Some ideas: do commentary on other fights involving other KZbinrs or even professional fights. Would love to see some videos of you working out and explaining what your moves are. Look at Stephen "Wonder Boy" Thompson's channel to sort of get some ideas on what subject matter works. I definitely can see your channel blowing up pretty fast. I was super amazed at how tough Kenny KO was. Im not a fan of his channel but he earned my respect. He took some headshots that would have knocked out most people or at the very least, quit. Good luck and subbed!

Man I appreciate that! Thanks, seriously. I have been thinking to myself what kind of content I should make, so your suggestions are greatly appreciated. And yes I agree man, dude can take a shot! Definitely earned my respect. I would definitely approach a rematch way differently. Now that I got that first fight out of the way I would definitely be more relaxed. But I truly appreciate the feedback!

Great fight man, especially considering the size he got on you. You should have been a bit more relaxed. Looked like you went ham and tried to lay him out with every punch, which tired you out quick. You seem like a really chill dude, looking forward to more content from you.

are you lefty or righty i notice you switch stances alot...its always going to be more tiring to fight a bigger guy obv you know that. You fought a almost perfect fight man..could have used a little more lateral movement after your combinations but it always easy to say that looking from the outside in...i had a few amateur fights... your a really good fighter tho man i enjoyed watching that fight .
@joshuagibson98523 жыл бұрын
Thanks I appreciate that. Did you have amateur boxing matches? Get back into at least training! But I’m naturally left handed. But i teach classes at a Muay Thai gym and most people are orthodox so I’ve gotten in the habit of training orthodox. And honestly I feel just as comfortable from both stances.

Yeah honestly I did after the first round. And my brother was telling the ref that he should think about stopping it because it’s just an exhibition/charity/free fight haha. No need to take any unnecessary damage. But it is what it is...if I didn’t do it to him he would’ve done it to me.
