That's the problem with Whittaker's style. Same as Naseem, sooner or later, someone will figure them out and it's hard for them to transition and adapt midfight because the are too used to be one dimension that worked until then. I think Naseem retired early because he thought that he was too old to learn a new a new dimension because it felt like he was learning boxing all over again from zero. However, Whittaker is still young and how he decides his path is crucial. Naseem doubled down on his style no matter what others say and he took it quite far. 19:50 you can clearly hear Liams coach saying “he’s pretending to be hurt” that’s from the eyes closest to the action, and at the end of the day they both landed on there heads/shoulders why would you fake an ankle injury? A neck injury would of been more convincing.

Cameron lost that fight. He only had two clean exchanges that he dominated. The vast majority was landing on Whittaker’s gloves or were not clean enough to dominate an exchange. He was constantly rabbit punching as well and being really obvious with it.

Having finally watched this 4 times in a row, I can see how it's a draw, I gave Whittaker 1 & 2 but Cameron 3 & 4. Round 5 was easily Camerons but sadly it's not counted. Whittaker was very ragged in round 5 and Cameron was getting through with solid punches which had a massive affect on Whittaker. To me it looked like Whittaker was looking for a way to either bide some time or get out of there. It did look like he was pulling and getting ready to go over the ropes and watching the slow mo it's hard to see any major injury to his right ankle, he didn't land on it from what I could see. Obviously I am no medical expert but that round 5 was clearly not what Whittaker was expecting... Welcome to the pro game..

Look at the 4 legs in motion. He was pushed. There was no pulling. Ben definitely grab on on the way over the ropes. Liam killed his own opportunity with the unnecessary aggression while grabbing.

Ben Whitaker took advantage of the incident of falling together, by pretending to be sick, actually he was afraid to continue fighting Liam Cameron, but Ben realized that if he continued fighting against Liam, he would definitely lose, look at Ben's style, when facing Liam, he didn't dare to use the drunken style like which he often does, but he takes boxing seriously, and even then he is far behind in numbers from Liam, Wallahu a'lam 🙏

This way down on the undercard was hours before the main event, not many people in the audience at that time.
