What a big crowd watching. Lydia hit it straight off the tee, close with her irons and putted pretty well. She hardly had to use her great short game. I forgot how simple she made this game seem. Lydia probably worked harder at golf than any other golfer at an early age except for Tiger woods. She wore red on the final day because it was her last clean T-shirt after 4 days of golf.

Ah the start of the true prodigy here. I was not watching LPGA in that year so I missed this. What an unprecedented accomplishment. Actually built the lead in the final round, and that takes major guts to pull.
