This is actually the best course I have ever taken. I have taken tons of courses in economics, math, programming, physics, finance etc. but this has to be the best one out of all of them. Information presented in a simple and understandable way, easy analogies and examples. TONS of examples after learning the concepts, which make the concepts stick so much faster. Truly a very well planned and presented course. Good job

I took this class, instructor lead (not instructor taught... if you read the fine print in the course description....) using the required Community College, University transferable, approved 8 week limited time "McGraw Hill software" program. I got an A (in mimicry - learning was redefined as knowing what the software would count as correct - repeating as many times as necessary to recite "correct" answers). I am now taking your course, self-imposed, during the summer - because the TRUTH is I know next to nothing about Accounting and going forward, I don't want to be a degree-holding, certificate-bearing idiot in a workplace environment. Thank you from me (and thank you for addressing this "situation" in the education system). For what it's worth - (as you obviously know) the material you are teaching is the same material most of us are exposed to, literally the exact same material except I can learn from you. (In fact, to hear you tell it, it's not nearly as complicated as we've been led to believe.... ;-) )

Tony! I am taking a new roll as a co-owner of a small family business; I am the lead on incorporating a new accounting software, and I have no past accounting experience. Watching your videos and paying for the members only content has been invaluable! I heavily appreciate the quantity of practice problems provided, I appreciate that they increase in difficulty as they go, and the videos walking me through the solution is indispensable! The level of detail you provide is perfect, as I very much enjoy knowing the why behind why some items go into certain columns, why we organize the Income Statement in the way that you do (operating expenses vs other expenses vs taxes), why we care about the ratios calculated, etc. Don't change anything! I really feel like I am building a strong foundation in accounting that will help me and my business be successful. Thanks again!

Sir I've a question, in 1:45:03 you said, the person and business are different entity, and shares of Maria is increasing, so we credit it. But aren't we making journal entries from the company's perspective, and if so, isn't the company losing shares to Maria? I hope you understood what i was saying.

I'm studying for my certified bookkeeper exam . Watching your videos was very helpful. I watched from module 1 to 10. I will download and print the entire 10 modules and do all the exercises again. It took me 4 days to complete your videos. Thank you for the videos.

I just have to say, I absolutely love these videos. I graduated with a degree in accounting about 10 years ago but went straight into operating my own business (nothing to do with accounting except of course my own extremely basic bookkeeping and taxes) but I have been considering making a switch back to accounting as i've grown tired of the long hours and just want something a little bit "cushier" in the corporate world. I realized that I should brush up on ALL THINGS accounting and these videos are terrific. Thanks to Tony Bell, who not only speaks clearly and efficiently, but also makes these videos a little fun with anecdotes. Thanks again Tony, Matt
