There were some misunderstandings on your part as a pilot. Please prepare yourself better when flying into such a busy airport. You missed the holding points that were given to you by the tower controller, and you also pulled yourself too far forward during the lineup, which was not an actual takeoff/rolling clearance, just a line-up. There is a lot of information on the radar scope that only the controller can see, that the pilot cannot.

Thank you, Manuel. Starting with the line up and how far forward I pulled myself, you’re right but considering it was a busy day, I assumed immediately I was on the runway, I’d be given clearance to takeoff so I didn’t want to bother breaking or stopping that’s why I continued pulling forward ever so slightly but yea, I should have lined up as instructed and not continue forward. As far as holding points, I will go back to look again but I held up at the correct holding point, no? I’ll check the video again but thanks for the corrections and I’ll be more pro next time 😊

@ChosVirtualFlights Oh yes! I reduced the radio distortion to around 20. The voice wasn’t that good to begin with so having radio distortion made it worse. In my opinion anyway 😊

I have no idea. I retracted the flaps and spoilers after landing but the spoilers for some reason didn’t disarm and because it plays back the way it was recorded, when I was playing the replay, it was like that.

😂🤣😂 Usually fly out in the evening my local time and go to sleep. By the time I wake up, it will be maybe 30mins to 1hr before landing. Or start the flight and go to work. 10hrs later, you’ll be close to descending lol

My graphics settings is everything on Ultra. Terrain Level of Detail and Object level of detail 150. I do not use NVIDIA Filters. My monitor is an OLED 32inch, so better color representation.

What’s the point of doing the long haul if you’ll let autopilot land it?

The reason I do autoland 90% of the time is because, there’s been cases where, I’d disconnect autopilot to manually land and once I hit the disconnect button, the plane goes into a nose dive. Sometimes I’m able to recover and stabilise it, other times I’m not and it crashes. Now, after 10 or 13 hrs flying, I’d rather let autopilot land than crash at final approach. You saw how the plane was swirling right and left at the first landing before the go around, yea? I hit the approach button and it starts struggling to line up properly. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but something definitely is wrong with the aircraft, at least it sometimes is.

@@planetarcadiayt I do agree with you and it’s actually more of a trim issue with the 787. What I try to do sometimes is disconnect a bit earlier sometimes at around 1,500 feet to stabilise it and re trim it. You can give it a try sometime and let me know how it works

I use a side stick but I’ve been thinking of getting the Boeing yoke which makes trimming easy as I don’t have to map any buttons for trim because it already has it.
