Full Flight: Southwest Airlines B737-800 Pittsburgh to Fort Lauderdale (PIT-FLL)

Hey guys! Welcome to another full flight video! After uploading quite a lot of international fights between Europe & Canada, I'm back with a U.S. domestic flight from my hometown, taking you back to my first ever full flight video route! By the way, I (thejazzGUY13) am back behind the camera! Southwest Airlines has always been one of my favorite US airlines and they sure didn't disappoint with this flight! The B737-800 I flew on was equipped with their new sky interior which features cool mood lighting, along with sleek looking seats, good legroom, adjustable headrests, large overhead bins, and a modern & fresh looking cabin. There was also WiFi available and free entertainment on your mobile devices as well as a free drink/snack service. The two biggest things I luv about Southwest is their boarding process and their 2 free checked bags. They are the only major airline in the US that offers any checked bag for free and it is an excellent staple of the airline. They are also the only airline I know of that boards the way they do, and I do think it is so much quicker and more logical than what some other airlines do (ahem...American). Hope you guys enjoy!

My dad and I took a trip to Haiti about four years ago. (His parents had been missionaries there when my dad was growing up, and the mission my grandfather founded was celebrating its 50th anniversary, so my dad and I, along with my aunt and uncle went out for the celebration). We flew out of Pittsburgh (as opposed to Columbus, where we'd normally fly from), and changed planes in Ft. Lauderdale, then flew on to Port-au-Prince; on the way back, we changed planes in Atlanta, then flew back to Pittsburgh--and well, let's just say there are quite a few reasons I've put Haiti on my list of "Places I'm Never Going Again".

in Omaha southwest airlines decorates their check in counters as well as the gate area and positions where you line up including santa hats during christmas time on those poles where you line up to board and ive seen southwest decorate for halloween, christmas, flag day, st patricks day, etc.

I love watching your full flight videos . Especially the ones from Pittsburgh to Florida . Gets me in the vacation spirit . I’ve watched your videos and I’m taking my mom on vacation this June and I suggested Southwest Airlines because of the good things I hear about it and the experiences I’ve always had with them . I’m from Pittsburgh myself and still live in Pittsburgh . Love watching your videos man. Always a tradition before vacations that I watch your videos .

Man, this is really cool. I hope I get to fly to Fort Lauderdale or St Petersburg-Clearwater this year on Allegiant. I'm doubting it because of the global pandemic, but my hopes aren't down! I'm still hyped for it. I wish I could fly on planes often as you do. Well done video!

Wow that Airport looks so spread out. Reminds me a lot of Las Vegas. It is so nice flying out of Milwaukee you can easily get to your gate in 5 minutes from checking in. May help that I am TSA Pre Checked. I am always amazed how SouthWest boards people. It looks and feels like you are lining up like an animal. Did you notice that guy wearing socks with Sandals?

@@ardalonansari1234 No a wide body is when there are a set seats in the middle of the cabin and then two different sets of seats toward the windows or ends. The aircraft he flew on was a narrow body.

At Raleigh Durham Int. Airport, my family were checking our bags in December, and there was this huge line for delta and not any other airlines, the line was literally outside. When we finally got to the Near end of the line and one of the employees scanned our ticket for our flight, and so because with delta you have to check in 40 mins before the fight, She was pacing and thinking if she should let us pass, and she did! Wonderful Lady. Anyways when we got to the Check in desk, The person there was scanning our bags quickly because we had 30 seconds left, and since the computers are like from the early 2000, it was slow, and she was reading the countdown like, Five, Four, Three, Two, One, Then the countdown was done. The tag was not printed and she said it might come out (The tag), and then like 2 mins after it printed. They were nice. Anyways, i would love to see an improvement with there check-ins. Like this airport, you check-in online, verify your flight, then you get the tag, then you go to a desk and/or a self serving check-in machine like in the airport YUL. I would like to thank the people reading this, and the delta people who helped us not miss our flight.

Nice Video, You do a good job of allowing the Taxi to play out at normal speed. One question, why avoid showing FA's on deplaning ? you focus on the the ground as you exit . Just curious..

@@thejazzguy13 Hi thanks for the reply. I understand now why you refrain from filming the FA's. I guess I wouldn't want to get on their bad side either. I do think that they are working, and getting paid for their services. The job requires them to be in the public eye during their shift. I can see them getting camera shy if they were on vacation, or traveling off duty. Anyway you have my thumbs up, keep up your fine video flight reviews
