I was on QF643 a month ago. When the plane landed into Perth I cried immediately as I was beyond excited to be back in my favourite Australian Capital city. Coming back to WA is just like coming back home! Thank you Qantas!

Wow great views especially over the Great Australian Bight. The approach into Perth is really impressive, doesn't look like the usual approach from east coast coming in parallel to coast would be more alike to the flights from SEA. I guess you had to take the battery out of the Gopro and hook it up to a powerbank to keep it filming that long? Glad it didn't overheat and and turn off!

We got lucky with the approach & landing views by landing on runway 06. You're right I have the camera connected to a powerbank & try to select seats that won't get direct sunlight on the camera if possible. Thanks for watching

I was lucky enough to a very nice ham tomato & cheese omelette with passionfruit flavoured yogurt & a raspberry muffin. The flights to Perth & back were on different airlines (Qantas & Virgin Australia) From memory I think the Qantas safety announcements were done via the inflight entertainment system rather then over the cabin speakers as is done on Virgin flights which is why it cant be heard on the uploaded video. In geography, a bight is a concave bend or curvature in a coastline, river or other geographical feature. The Great Australian Bight is a large oceanic bight, or open bay, off the central and western portions of the southern coastline of mainland Australia. Great video did cabin crew stop you from using suction cup on window before take off or landing or during the flight or stop you from filming during the flight

We didn't have any problems filming at any stage during the flight. We also hold the camera during take-off and landing as handheld devices are permitted at these stages of flight. Thanks for watching!

The time difference during NSW daylight savings time (October to early April) is 3 hours, for the reminder of the year it is 2 hours difference. This flight was just over 5 hours from gate to gate. Thanks for watching!
