Both of them are apsc cameras, which is something that if you have good skill, you can take decent images. But your competition will come in with full frame cameras, which will make it difficult for you to compete. I would recommend to wait and get a proper full frame option than to upgrade again in the future.

XC and XF 35 f2 are practically the same lens, just with one difference, one is housed in metal and the other in plastic, XC has a lot of noise in the stepping motor, and has a ton of focus breathing, which is bad for video, XF is much more controlled.

I would recommend getting any 50mm f1.8 lens if you are getting the sony A7c or A7iii second hand! And always ask the previous owner if he has a lens with the camera , most of the time they will. If you are going for a APSC camera , get the XT30ii or buy second hand XT-4 and get the Sigma 30mm F.1.4 lens, and you will be good to go!

Instead of selling both your camera and lens, I would recommend just selling your Camera body and getting a new mirrorless option with a kit lens, like the Canon RP or a second sony a7c / lumix S5, and use a mount adapter to use the older 50mm lens. Because your 50mm f1.4 is a good lens to get you started in your new kit and if you will go buy a new lens, it will cost you a ton more than a mount adapter.

If that is the case , go for a used A7C or A7iii, which are still one of the best full frame cameras in the market! Sony has much better autofocus than most competitors while also being quite popular, hence easily serviceable. Plus tbh , cameras, if taken good care, will not need any parts or services, as they are made to be durable and for long term use. Canon is good too, but there are not many third party lenses in the market! TBH, if you do not want to shoot professionally, get the x100v of fuji and you will be more than happy creating art for your passion!

Just to understand why to die for full frame? Now a days great light-weight and powerful camera is available in apsc format as well. I totally agree that full frame is best for low light and better DOF. But if we mostly shooting in a controlled environment like a fair light setup using good glasses, then apsc cant be a really good option? New cameras like Sony a6700 can be a great pick for hybrid shooters (includes 10bit 4:2:2 with custom color profile options). Please note that, I am only talking about brand new body, not second hand in this context.

I completely agree with you and as you can see by my other videos, my primary camera is a fuji apsc. The thing is I just started to educate people on good options, but the mindset is that we need Full Frame or nothing. That is why i had to suggest used options too. Plus the general mindset of the Indian photography industry is the hype of canon and sony, and those too full frame. I do sympathize with the people giving in to the pressure and getting these cameras because they will not be given work if they have no Sony or Canon. But soon i will put out videos to educate people about the same. Till then, i would need to gather an audience like you to help me in this journey. Thanks for such a detailed comment and feedback. @@jigneshchhatpar True! And when it comes to hype, specially for Sony, I think they have earned the name (resulting hype now) by doing a fabulous job in mirrorless camera department. Canon and Nikon were nowhere close to Sony few years back in that segment. Infact Fuji had better options then those and still doing good. And that retro look is eye catching 🙂 And also when it comes to lenses option, as we already know Sony has a good (infact best) ecosystem for native and third-party lenses. And if you are an apsc user then you can add bit more to that list. Even a 2014 released Alpha 5100 can use 2023 released e-mount lenses without any adaptor. Well.. overall I believe, either it's from Sony, Canon, or Nikon. All are good (specially if you are choosing a high end body). Each one got more or less feature, so it depends on your taste, budget and specially on what you want to do with your camera. And also there should not be a rigidity or mindset that only a particular brand camera will do the magic. Without proper skill none of these camera are better.

And tbh they were the pioneers to get the mirrorless systems we know now to come to existence. Yes i use the xt30ii , all my footage is from that, so you can get that but i would suggest getting xs10 which is better for long term

Bhai mein toh canon 3000d use kar Raha hu, still satisfied with photos, bass video is awful , unsatisfied 🙂 , baki sab thik ha, in future I will shift to Sony 👌

@@ktricbivek9334 ZV-E10 With a 30mm 1.4 lens is what you should upgrade to only if you have requirement of video, but if not, do not upgrade just for the sake of upgrading, especially if you don't feel like you are being limited by your gear.

I don't want to take your hopes and dreams away or demotivate you in any way, but there is no camera “new” that is available under 50k. You will need to buy a second hand apsc camera to get it under 50k.
