Tim Cone brings PH basketball to the map! Never thought we can compete this well vs. European teams. The morale of PH basketball exceeds and we can't be more excited for the future of this circle of Gilas roster. Congrats CTC and to the whole players and crew of Gilas Pilipinas!

Early time when coach tim handled gilas, he sited IRAN and HADDADI team success was due to their intact lineup over the years. Now and moving on, ctc sticks to the plan. Since ctc gilas players are fixed to 12, maski 1 week lang before a tournament would be enough kasi walang mababago sa lahat. Refresh nalang ng refresh and that saves time. We were competitive sa recent OQT mapa shooting at perimeter or 3's. Not unless accident happens na meron mawawala for so long sa dirty dozen ni ctc baka maconsider nya magdagdag again ng reserve like the case of Amos. Reserves may be noted as back up pero there would come a time na need na mag give way ni jbl, or abay Kaya nandyan na si boatright sa process of naturalization for early immersion that solidify our fronline. I see in ctc the next Best posible players in mind to be added are tall athletic wings and guards to backup malonzo, oftana, cj and newsome when inline na tayo to compete with tall blacks or South americans. But for now, big spacer ang posibleng hinahanap ni ctc and that could be GO while TAMAYO, KQ and AMOS are still adopting. We've come seing a good showing from gilas last OQT, and we may come to see more good games under ctc leadership Kaya best is wag natin pangunahan and trust ctc at support lang.... Goodluck...

Congrats Coach Tim Cone and Gilas team: Questions, Feedback and Suggestions: 1) Dapat ipinanalo na lang yung sa Georgia game para tumaas lalo morale ng players para mas ganahan nung Brazil game at tumaas sa FIBA rankings? Weird nung feeling na natalo pero nanalo by point system 2) Coach Tim said they lacked shooters but why he did not get the 12th slot for another shooter (Heading was being offered by SGA) Matthew Wright or designed a 3pt play for Amos? 3) Should have played 10 man rotation and developed 5 man bench to preserve Justin and not just rely on him for offense. 4) Dapat nag simula na sila magpractice nung na eliminate yung Ginebra nung playoffs at tinawag na yung players for film reviews and system plays habang nasa PBA Finals sila Junmar, CJ & Newsome para kahit papaano 3 weeks ang preparation hindi 1 week lang as alibi palagi. 5) They should have got 2 bigs in Almazan and Erram knowing Edu is injured and filled the 12th slot & for Amos. 6) SBP should not invite players pag nag announce na ng retirement kasi half hearted na at nakapag decide na sila. 7) Dapat sinama si Bollick base sa performance niya nung FIBA World 2019 with CJ Perez. 8) Why bring Amos if you are not comfortable with him?🤦🏻 9) Why bring 11- 12 men if di naman gagamitin lahat para makapagpahinga yung starters & tiring your 7-8 players specially Brownlee? 10) Gamitin lahat ng guards for full court press pesky defense. 11) Bakit di pa baka align ang PBA at UAAP sa sched ng FIBA para malaman kung makakalaro si KQ? 12) Bakit di nag time out agad nung 3rd Quarter against Brazil kung 4 o 5 na turnovers involving Japeth and the momentum being killed for Gilas? 13) Coach Del Rosario should check all freethrow shootings and percentage of players and improve them. 14) FIBA 2014, Ranidel from a CNN PH interview, binanggit niya na walang scouting against France. Ganun pa din pa ba ngayon? May opponent scouting and film review crew ba ang Gilas? 15) FIBA World 2014 or 2015? in Spain, Junmar was top 5 in PPG efficiency with his inside game. Athletic bigs na lang kelangan: Edu if healthy, Almazan or Erram. 16) Isabak na si Arana at Balti sa Gilas sa November 17) Filling up a 12th man slot is a perception? Kelangan po ma fill up ang slot in case of injuries lalo na sa bigs Thank you pa din Coach Tim dahil malaki ang inimprove from last FIBA team ngunit dami pa din kelangan ayusin. 🙏

To respond on your queries based on sa mga previous interviews ni coach Tim (baka lang kasi di mo napanood): 1) On his post game interview after the game against Georgia ay sinabi ni CTC na gusto nila manalo but they did not kaya nga weird daw ng feeling na natalo sila pero pasok parin sila sa semis...kumbaga sino ba naman gusto matalo sa laro but that was part of the game and ang mahalaga they fought till the end. 2) When Scottie begged off sa OQT bcoz of injury ay agad tinawagan ni CTC si Heading but unfortuantely meron na syang prior commitment kaya hindi sya nakalaro, kaya they were forced to play Ramos as a primary ball handler. 3) Mula Alaska days pa ay ganyan na ang sistema ni CTC kahit sa international noong panahon ng Centenial team...ngayon pa ba nya babaguhin?! 4) The program was designed bago pa tanggapin ni CTC ang pagiging head coach and everyone knows (maybe except sayo) na they will treat every FIBA windows as their build up para sa mga future competition and besides wala naman ako narinig na ginawang alibi yung lack of time para sa preparation. 5) They have Kai and Junemar plus nanydan si Japeth na kabisado na ang sistema ni CTC as back up kaya saan mo pa ilalagay yung ibang bigs, considering nga na short rotation lang naman sya...diba? 6) They did not just invite retired players sa OQT instead coach Tim have to "begged" Japeth to play for the OQT bcoz as what ive said kabisado na ni Japeth ang sistema ni CTC. 7) Again, CTC picked players based not on their skill level but sa mga players na alam ng coaches na swak at makakalaro sa sistema...Bolick needs the ball on his hands and create on his own para maging effective kaya how would you run the triangle offense kung isang player lang ang may hawak ng bola??? 8) Amos was a versatile bigman and was added as a back player kaya dont expect that he will be part of the rotation. 9) Please refer back to #3 for the answer :) 10) If you put smaller guards then kakainin lang sila ng kalaban like what happened during the time of LA, Alapag, and Castro...kaya nga ang primary point guard nila is si Scottie, he may not be the best guard sa PBA but he is a 2 way paleyr na gusto ni CTC at pasok sa sistema nya. 11) There was already an agreement sa lahat ng stake holders kasama na ang collegiate leagues that they will release players who are part of the NT kapag may FIBA window or competition. 12) CTC trusted his players particularly Japeth kaya nga sya pa ang ginawang captain ball ng Gilas team, plus nakapag adjust naman sila eventually. 13) its easier said than done...:( 14) If they did not scouted teams...would they won against a top 6 team sa World ranking? even the coach of Latvia admitted that Gilas came prepared and was the better team that night. 15) This is the first time na nakita natin nakipagsabayan ang mga bigs ng Gilas gaya ni Junemar at Kai against sa mga European players kaya di ko gets yung mga ipinipilit mong players. 16) Converge was dead last noong previous PBA season so these players needs to prove first if they deserve a spot sa national team. 17) Ilang beses na ipinaliwanag ni CTC kung bakit di nya makita ang need para lawakan pa ang 12 man pool nya sa kabila ng mga injuries ng mga players... Hindi naman kaila na marami pa talagang dapat ayusin for the Gilas team to be more competetive lalo na sa mga darating pang FIBA windows pero as a basketball fan dapat din natin ayusin din yung ugali natin mas marunong pa at mas magaling kesa don sa coach....agree?

aside from jordan heading coach tim should start seriously considering fielding in francis lopez calleum harris michael phillips and alex konov! these are legit agile and athletic 6"6 to 6'8 guys that can play the wings and can complement kai and aj edu in the middle
