This girl chat was proof of how little research they do before shouting their opinions tbh. They can actually use the word Royal, and they actually started the legal process before they exited as it's a common practice for royals to do so to prevent people from merching off them. But because of the exit and people getting upset over it, they stopped and chose another name instead. They are still royals, just not working royals. Other non working royals like Eugenie and Beatrice has used their titles for their own work.

Even if you're part of the royal family, you are not allowed to use the royal titles to make a profit. You don't know whether this is a "charity", they are just claiming it is. Also, the IRS has to grant you 501c3 status for you to be a charity, which may not be easy to obtain. Who knows if they have actually done this. They knew they needed permission from the queen to use this title as a name for their "brand". .. I'm not surprised that they feel so entitled and didn't seek Queen Elizabeth II's permission.

I think respectfully if I’m not mistaken although they don’t want to do anything under the queen , which I can understand considering his own mother passed away being part of the royal family... they can still maintain the name... I think everybody knows who they are and just knows them as Harry and Meghan... they coudlve trademarked their last name “ Windsor” and used it as a way for them to do business outside of the royal family! Which to me would’ve been the best choice

I think it's best that they didn't use it. It's understandable if they don't want that life, but to use either name for profit without being in partnership with the monarchy doesn't seem right. The same goes for Eugenie or whoever else does it.
