Very nice stack my friend, I grew up poor also (I didn’t know we were poor lol), but instead of in a city I grew up in a very rural area. Dirt road and my closest neighbor was 4 miles away. Looking at it now I think I was actually very lucky being in the middle of nothing but forrest and fields as a young boy. Anyway I am the first leg of the building of generational wealth for my family. When I pass on the family treasure to my son I can only hope he appreciates it and takes care of it like I have.

I would of loved being in a rural area. We moved from a rural area when I was very young to a city and it sucked From fishing ,hunting, dirt bikes , to gangs and over population. I hated it All for a better job but ended up paying more to live so it was very rough ! I’m trying to move back to the sticks right now . Good luck handing down family wealth I to worry what my children will do , so I educate them every day on the importance of not living outside there means . Thank you !

Good investment strategy and stacking, I know the feeling of waiting for every paycheck like it’s Christmas as a kid growing up. I just started my stacking journey last month with my first 2 ozs of gold and over 90 ozs of silver. Trying to pace myself every month to shoot for 7 ozs of gold and 250 ozs of silver by end of 2022. I don’t know why I did not start this sooner, it’s pretty easy, valuable, tangible and fun! 🤩

That is huge! Well done! I make about $70k/year. I have been pretty disciplined about saving in a Roth, contributing to work 401k and tucking a little into an emergency fund each month since college but somehow those dollars always seem to disappear. I bought a little bit of silver and a half ounce of gold in 2008 but then stopped bc I went back to school and moved abroad. Got back into stacking around 2017 but finally got serious when the cerveza sickness started. Mostly silver but have managed to get a few ounces of gold. Don't have very much but I still have every single ounce I ever bought and I can rest easy knowing it will retain its purchasing power indefinitely. Hopefully something I can leave to my kids and grandchildren one day.

That’s about what I was making when I started stacking and I was just not figuring it out my decision to start stacking totally saved my rear end I opted out of my 401k and I put it into physical I had an option to opted out before I started with this company and I’m glad I did I’ve seen people loose 25-60% of there 401k and inflation even more . Other then perfect security and space and weight (only issues) I’m happy with my decision to save for my own retirement. Keep stacking brother . And thank you

Another great video and amazing gold stack. 🤘 I too get anxiety about not building my stack due to crazy premiums and high spot price. I've been reducing that anxiety by funneling the money I would normally use for PM's towards any and all debt! I used the debt snowball method to pay off debts from smallest to biggest and next month my only debts will be my mortgage and student loan -- car paid off early, all credit cards are zeroed out, phone paid off, checking account and savings growing, etc. It's important to remember we're all in it for the long run. Taking a year or two off from stacking is nothing because as you said we'll back up the truck when spot price and premiums return to normal.

I know in certain areas they won’t get them because they’re not 24 karat gold places like India they won’t even buy any type of coins without it being 24 karat I wonder if it’s that type of situation or maybe there’s just to much of a premium for them to get them . Thanks for the Food for thought . I’m going to have to do some digging now

@@savagestacker Non-Pure coins are taxable in Canada, that is probably why. Still, on the secondary market people don't charge each other taxes and I still never see any.
@savagestacker3 жыл бұрын
Hmm 🤔 ok that’s makes sense then I don’t think I would keep them in my shop either. If I had to pay taxes on a $2000 purchase it would be a hard pass . So as a shop owner or bullion dealer I wouldn’t keep many of them in stock . I like the 24k (9999) better anyway. Hey thank you for the conversation I learned something today I appreciate it

Great accomplishment within a short periods of time. 25oz for 2021?
@savagestacker3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely that would be nice . So far with the premiums increasing not a great start . Well with silver anyways but gold premiums are climbing up there too . Thank you

Great stack, savage. Just stay away from the fractional, because of high premiums. You can get more gold for less dollars buying one ounce.

True, the math don’t lie about paying way high premiums for fractionals. I recently calculated that one can pay $800 to $900 extra on 1/10 ozs if buying 10 coins to make 1 oz. Fractionals are tempting because of the lower individual costs, but adding them up to the 1 oz is really financially brutal on the pocket.

Nice stack there. Just starting on gold after seriously stacking silver. I now have 5 Sovereigns, 1 x 1/10th Britannia and a 2 Peso gold. Aim to have 20 Sovereigns and 5 s 1/10th Britannias by the years end.
@Acontador133 жыл бұрын
Congrats! Are you getting Britannias because of the low overspot? Eagles premium pretty darn high now
@gunnargundersen37873 жыл бұрын
@@Acontador13 It's a bunch of factors in my purchase decision. Push and Pull. The push is that I dislike the type 2 redesign on the Silver intensely - The Gold one - meh. It's way over spot compared to its peers, the customer service of the US Mint is terrible. It's numismatic upside is terrible compared to its peers. And as a Brit I am not aflicted with the US "Not invented here" disease. It's a real disease and I'll give you another example. Pretty much the rest of NATO buys the FN Mag Belgian made General Purpose Machine Gun, US puts up with the dreadful M60 for 40 years before bowing to the inevitable and adopting the FN Mag. I can come up with many more examples and it's why the US Mint can continue to churn out mediocrity. The Britannia downside - It milk spots (so does the ASE, Kangaroos and Krugerands - The only one that doesn't is the Canadian stuff (which I also buy but in the 2oz)) and ultra high premium coins like the Libertad. The plus side - For me no Capital Gains Tax. The security features are superb - best in class. They are the closest bullion to spot of the Government mints or there abouts with the Philharmonic which doesn't have the security features. They have a numismatic upside - You try and buy one of the old Sterling silver ones at spot or look at the price of a 1st year 97 and compare the premium to a 1st year ASE. The customer service, Packaging and variety is superb (oh and they do different design proofs rather than a cheap privy mark). I'm a Patriot, love my country, spent 10 years in the British Army defending it. But if the Royal Mint was churning out cr@p the way the US Mint is right now I'd buy elsewhere. And indeed I do. Of my Silver stack only about 20% is Brit silver, same percentage US. The largest percentages are Aussie and Canadian Silver. I've visited 98 countries. Of those 98 there are probably less than 8 that would not know or pay full value for a Sovereign.

I like how Americans say 'a 1/4 oz' when it's a quarter. Both are the same I know, but over here we would never say 'a 1/4oz' It would just be a quarter oz. Anyway amazing video, great stack. Liked and subbed.
