Sound doctrine. Please hit me hard with the word of God. I want to live by the word of God. Sometimes it takes a whipping to get right with God. Preach Apostle Lobias. Some didn't like Jesus but he was right and he kept right on during his father's business. I know this is a rerun but it's yet for this generation and all to come until Jesus come!

+Prophetess Mudflapp Any child of God should be "with Jesus". If your statement is correct then the Apostle Paul would be incorrect when he called himself an apostle to the gentiles. Paul was never a follower of Jesus until some time after his resurrection b/c Paul persecuted the church. An apostle is one that usually has a ministry of establishing churches and building up the kingdom of God.

sarhael Actually, Paul was considered in his time to be an original Apostle because he encountered Christ on the road to Damascus so the general agreement was that he saw (or was in the presence of) Christ. Still, the original distinction of an Apostle having to have seen Christ was enacted in that day to avoid false teachers at the onset of the Church in order that orthodoxy might be established. It worked. Yet, The Work of an Apostle is still relevant today and The Bible never stated that Apostleship would cease when the original disciples and Paul died off. That would have ended the spread of the Church...
