This touched home for me someone who has dealt with acne and still dealing with it at the age of 34 acne scars, discoloration, you just get tired of hearing about having flawless skin especially when you have been trying to achieve it. I can totally relate to what you were saying about covering up your hyperpigmentation. I am 44yrs old and I have the darkness under my eyes and acne scars under my chin that I am very self conscious about. I tried doing the minimal makeup application and found out that it just dont work for me...all of my dark marks shows through and it makes me look like I don't know how to apply makeup, if that makes sence. So, with all of that being said, thank you for this video and thank you for advocating for us hyperpigmented ladies. Love your videos! Keep them coming!

Im an esthetician and also have acne prone skin. The lasers i get are either Spectra or clear and brilliant . Both are safe for black skin AND help with acne/ post inflammatory hyperpigmentation ☺️☺️

Yes! Ashley thank you for speaking candidly about "non-perfect" skin. I'm in my early 60's and been full coverage for years!!!! Because of my "hyperpigmented" skin and yes I've tried to correct it but dark spots on skin is very hard to get rid of...especially if you've had it for over 30 years. So you are beautiful and yes, we use makeup to both hid the "scars, hyperpigmentation, acne and other issues and enhance ourselves. And if you don't use, like or need makeup so be it but leave us that love it and wear it alone! Keep doing your thing and showing us "mature" women how to do the damn thing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
