I am not very sure if the relationship between edla and the peddler was that of love. Upon reading the chapter i thought that it was more of a portrayal of humanity and forgiveness rather than of love at first sight or themes along a similar line. I don't think that the concept of love is applicable to the chapter rattrap as it encompasses the feeling of compassion and empathy over a romantic theme. Perhaps love is an element but romance is not. Please correct me if i am mistaken.

I find letter to the editor more easy cuz job application is just too much you have to write CV and it's also a Lil length and in case of letter we know the format by heart and infact the first line also so its quite easy ig...for me atleast!💌
